Welcome to the Casa Zorro and Casa Zorro Casitas/Studios! Our home and two studios are only a few years old and sparklingly clean. All were carefully designed to ensure privacy, convenience, relaxation, and, most importantly, FANTASTIC views of the Caribbean.

Casa Zorro offers several flexible rental options - you may chose to rent the 2 bedroom, 2 bath main house or 1 or both of the casitas/studios OR rent the entire grounds for a total of 4 bedrooms and 4 baths! Our property is located on beautiful Isla Mujeres. While it is just a 20 minute ferry ride away, Isla Mujeres is far removed from the crass commercialism and frantic energy of Cancun. If you are looking for a relaxing place with some of the best beaches in the Caribbean, stop looking - you have found Isla.
Our location in a local neighborhood called La Gloria affords both stunning sunrises and breathtaking sunsets and views of the lights of Cancun. For even greater impact, there is easy access to the roof. The view from up there is truly unforgettable. There is a double-sized bed/lounger up there for sunbathing and/or stargazing. The main house has a porch with some shade and plants. The lower studio has a shaded porch and the upper studio has a balcony - both spots are great places to take in the impressive colors of the Caribbean Sea.

Also, we are just steps away from the cliff overlooking the water. It is a very easy walk down to the beach (much easier than many places along the coast). Once down there, you can expect to find a slew of shells, interesting coral formations, numerous tide pools, and NO PEOPLE. This is a great place for quiet contemplation. Although swimming on this side of the island is not generally recommended, you can snorkel here when the sea is calm.
Beyond the natural beauty that surrounds the grounds, our location ensures that travelers get into the local culture. Yes, we are located across the street from the water, but we also enjoy the fact that we are in one of the most vibrant local neighborhoods - La Gloria. Within its streets you will find friendly locals, small restaurants, many local-style convenience stores, internet cafes, and stalls where you can buy juices and containers of fresh fruit (perfect for smoothies in the morning!).
Taxis can be hailed easily from the street in front of Casa Zorro. You should only pay 20 pesos (less than $2.00) to go downtown. If you are a little more adventurous, you can take the public bus for four pesos (about .40 cents). Either way, you can be on Playa Norte, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, in a matter of minutes.
The Casa Zorro property is: affordable, clean, comfortable, and attractive. We stress the affordability because we sincerely hope the money you save on lodging will allow you to take part in our vibrant local ecomony - enjoy shopping, food and fun while you are here!
I hate to do this, but I have a quick note: Although we are close to Cancun, the vibe here is TOTALLY different. If you are looking for a place to rent and then trash, please, please, please look elsewhere. It is our goal to offer an affordable, relaxing haven. Isla is not the place for debauchery (well, out-of-control debauchery, anyway :)

We have had the pleasure of staying at Casa Zorro twice now! The accommodations are superior and the view is simply amazing! If you are contemplating between vacationing in Cancun or Isla, you must stay on Isla at Casa Zorro and go "visit" Cancun! This island has the most beautiful water, wonderful beaches and yummy food you will ever find! The people are so friendly and will always help you find anything that you are looking for! The fact that you can hop out of bed in the morning right into the pool and relax for hours on end while enjoying the view and the sound of the ocean is one of the reasons this is our favorite place to be! We stayed over New Years in 2007 and it was absolutely amazing. Everything you need it right on the island and by golf cart you can easily get around. We have locals come thru the neighborhood selling bread and other homemade desserts. There is a fabulous local taco stand right around the corner from the house that we frequented. I have had the pleasure of visiting Casa Zorro several times. It is the one place I can go and have a truely relaxing time. I love the neighborhood and all the local contacts. There is so much to do!! Snorkel, swim, sun bathe, relax, relax, relax. The pool at Casa Zorro is beautiful. When you are looking for a vacation filled with relaxation look no farther than Casa Zorro. Our favorite was waking up every morning to the curtains blowing in the ocean breeze. The sound of the ocean right in your back yard. The rooms are all extremly clean and the pool is not only refreshing but crystal clean. With the location of casa zorro you are also able to get to know all the people of the island something really special you do not get the big resort spots. We can not wait to go back.
