Bear Trax is a 2 story log home at about 1,800 square feet just 2.3 miles from downtown Bryson City. It is a 3 bedroom 3 bath home with each bedroom having its own full bath. Bear Trax, like all 5 of our other fantastic cabins, is equipped with fine linens, very nice bedding, Yamaha Home Theater equipment, Hot Spring spas and more.
Looking for a place for a family reunion?
Next Door, about 200 feet away, to Bear Trax is our brand new home (finished October 2007) Bear Pause. It is handicap accessible and is perhaps the flagship home of Mountain Bear Cabins. Bear Trax sleeps 8 and Bear Pause sleeps 10 to 12.

Bear Necessities is one of our 2 bedroom 2 bath homes with 40 mile views of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Lazy Bear is one of 2 of our 2 bedroom cabins. Lazy Bear sits on 5 acres and has wonderful privacy and long range views with a spa and killer outdoor firepit area.
Jackson County's Pinnacle Park is a gem in the rough. Hike nearly 5,000 feet in elevation for breath taking views of the Smokies.

We are dedicated in providing exceptional small lodging and guest service at all of our homes. We are married, have 3 kids with 1 child having special needs. We also own the Dillsboro Chocolate Factory in Dillsboro just outside of Sylva and perhaps 10 minutes or so from Cherokee. We live within minutes of our homes and are here to serve our guests as they need or want. You may and likely will find other very nice homes in the Smokies, but you are not likely going to find an owner who will go the extra mile as we do with our 5 properties.
