So many things to talk about so I will try to be organized! 1. The Villa: Every window of Casa De Isle has a lovely view of palm trees and azure water. The villa is spotless and tastefully decorated (not kitschy, no cheap rental furniture). The bedrooms are a good size with comfy beds and plenty of closet space. The kitchen is well-stocked and my husband loved the grill and said it worked really well. Our children (7 and 9) loved the loft. Quality glass sliders let in cool Caribbean breezes that were wonderful to sleep to. The pool was small but great to splash around in and sit/eat around. The kids loved it and sometimes it was hard to pull them away. Most importantly, the pool is totally private since it is on the second floor, which also allows it beautiful views of the water and the palm trees around it. The landscaping is really lovely. It was also nice to have a covered area under the property to park our car in the shade. The owners are downstairs which is not bothersome and actually helped us feel more connected to the island. (more on the owners later) 2. Location: It is a short and private walk to Taylor Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world (really!), white sand, turquoise water, never crowded and shallow and without waves, making it great for kids. We loved being in a non-touristy part of the island. There is a nice restaurant close-by (Las Brisas) with good food at a more reasonable price than most of the Grace Bay restaurants. 3. Amenities: Innumerable. Cell phone? check, they give you one. Bottled water? there is a water cooler in the apartment. You want a cooler to take food to the beach? It's right there. You want wifi? No problem. Maybe you just want to get on a computer? There's one there with free internet. You want to call the US? Go ahead, it's free on the Magic Jack phone in the villa. You feel like kayaking? There's a 3 person kayak with life vests. Sand toys? they got'em. You want to float in an inflatable raft? No problem, Dan will even blow it up for you. I'm sure I'm forgetting many things.... 4. The hosts: THIS IS WHAT MAKES THIS VILLA UNIQUE AND EXTRA SPECIAL. Debbie and Dan are extremely nice, caring and helpful people. They were easily accessible but never intrusive and gave really helpful advice. Dan picked us up at the airport and was available by cell (or in person) anytime. They really care about the property and want their guests to have a great vacation. They certainly succeeded with our family

vacation with daughter and her family

Date of Stay: 03/31/12 Review Submitted: 04/17/12

We spent a week at Casa De Isle in Taylor Bay with our daughter, her husband, and three children ages 2, 5, and 8. It was the perfect place for a wonderful, relaxed vacation. The bay is perfect for children--beautiful sand and safe, shallow water. The villa also is perfect--spacious, clean, well-appointed, and the pool is about 6 steps from the living room. The kids spent nearly all their waking hours in the pool and ocean. Debbie and Dan are great hosts. They totally respect their guests' privacy but materialize out of nowhere the minute you have a question or need advice on where to go, what to see, or how to get there. They were so gracious to make two trips to the airport--one when we arrived and one when our daughter and family arrived. They advised us to use Grace Bay Car Rentals, which we totally intended to do, but we waited too long to reserve a minivan and they were out of them by the time we tried (about two months in advance). We went with an Avis van, which was fine after the three hours it took Avis to find the car seats they promised us (all the while Dan and Debbie waited patiently in the hot sun) My advice--book with Grace Bay Car Rentals, but do it EARLY.. Debbie and Dan have sand toys for the kids, a port crib, a kayak, tennis rackets (bring your own balls), pool floats, some life preservers, washer and drier, free phone to the US, and wi fi. Our weather was perfect. It's a great place to spend a great vacation.

Wonderful house. Great location!

My husband, myself and our 4 kids stayed at this property in March 2012. We loved the house. It had all of the comforts of home from a fully equipped kitchen to beach toys and chairs. The house is located a short walk from the beautiful beach of Taylor Bay (perfect for young kids). Dan and Debbie were absolutely wonderful and ensured that our stay met our expectations in every way. Dan met us at the airport, helped us get our rental car and guided us to the house. This was great since it was our first trip to the island. I loved sitting on the deck while the kids swam in the pool. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet, clean and comfortable vacation property. We can't wait to go back!

A perfect week in paradise

Thanks again for another amazing time! We are so lucky to have been able to enjoy your beautiful home twice this year. Debbie greeted us with a warm, "welcome home" and we headed right to Taylor Bay to watch the incredible sunset. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. While Grace Bay is an easy drive away, we found it pretty windy the week we were there and as a result really appreciated the calm turquoise water that Taylor Bay provides. We even gave the tennis court a try. The rackets and balls at the house were in great shape. Deb and Dan go out of their way to ensure that your vacation is perfect and readily provided us with a snorkeling raft to use with our boys when we went to Coral Gardens. I journeyed around the buoys and was rewarded with a sting ray and barracuda sighting. A little further down the beach past Windsong Resort is some pines with a small reef that the boys found easy to snorkel at. We tried Mango Reef and Coco Bistro restaurants this time and thoroughly enjoyed both. We also enjoyed our favourites from last time such as da Conch Shack and the Flamingo Cafe. Casa de Isle is the perfect spot from which to enjoy all that Provo has to offer. Looking forward to our next visit!!!

We have rented many VRBO properties in the Carribean, but this was our first visit to T&C. Hospitality began at the airport where we were warmly greeted by Deb & Dan and never ended while we were on the island. We rented a vehicle, and they lead the way home. They immediately made us feel welcome. The house and views of the Carribean Sea from the private pool and deck were fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed the kayak. Everything in the house was first class and in excellent working order. We especially appreciated the Magic Jack phone and internet service. Deb & Dan were always there for anything we needed, yet they never intruded our privacy. We would highly recommend Casa de Isle. Thank you Deb & Dan for a wonderful experience!!!

The perfect place and conditions for the dream vacation!

Date of Stay: 02/18/12 Review Submitted: 03/08/12

Casa de Isle has all that anyone could want when looking for a vacation rental in Providenciales! Not only is it on the "right side" of the island (the lovely, uncrowded south side), but it is steps from what has to be one of the most magical beaches in the world -- Taylor Bay, and also known as Sunset Bay. But the beaches of Grace Bay are only 15 minutes away by car, since Providenciales is so small. Other rentals have sparsely stocked kitchens and minimal furnishing, but not Casa de Isle. A more fully stocked kitchen you will never find, with abundant plates, bowls, serving ware and all sizes of cookware for even the most demanding cook! And the furniture is comfortable and tasteful, not generic condo stuff you see in many rentals. And Casa de Isle's pool deck is one of most fun and amazing places, from daytime when you can swim or sunbathe under the warm Turks and Caicos sun, to night time when one can take a dip under a sky that has more stars than anyone thought possible. And the sunsets are stunning -- Taylor Bay faces the southwest where some of the most amazing sunsets one will ever see are a daily occurrence. And when owners Debbie and Dan Dawson are in town (they live part of the year in the apartment on the first level), they are always ready and eager to help if you have any questions, need any advice, or need anything. And they go out of their way to make sure renters have complete privacy, enjoy themselves, and do as they please. During my two visits to Casa de Isle, I found them to be charming and helpful with any requests. Now, they are like family. I definitely look forward to future visits to Casa de Isle since it really is the perfect place to experience the tropical beauty and peacefulness that Providenciales has to offer. If you plan a stay at Casa de Isle, you won't be disappointed, but thrilled with your decision!

Outstanding Rental Villa On Taylor Beach

Guest: Waterlily (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
Date of Stay: 01/25/12 Review Submitted: 02/15/12

We just spent 2 wonderful relaxing weeks in Casa de Isle. I cannot praise it enough. The owners are very friendly and helpful but tactfully non-intrusive although they live on the premises. Looking even better than advertised, the villa was spotlessly clean, perfectly maintained, stylishly decorated and very comfortable. The beds (this is a crucial item for comfort when you're past a certain age as we are) were excellent, as were the two full bathrooms. The fully equipped kitchen was a pleasure to use, the big full screen TV and the computer were also working perfectly. The pool was great. We did not use the air conditioning as the breezes flowed gently through the fully screened windows. We were not bothered by biting insects at all. And then, there was the beach... What can I say about the beach? Taylor Bay must rank among the best beaches in the world, on an island known for its superb beaches. With its shallow entry, it would be perfect for children and non-swimmers. There was interesting snorkeling in the coral further out. Kayaking was also a pleasure especially since the very helpful owners gave us a hand in bringing to kayak to and from the beach - a pleasant 2-minute walk down a garden path. The nearby restaurant Las Brisas provides gourmet meals, takeouts and a bar with live entertainment on weekends. I would return in a heartbeat and recomment this place to all my friends and relatives.

Owner response:Thanks so much Helen!!! It is our pleasure to insure our guests have the relaxing vacation they deserve. We love sharing our home with such wonderful people. Since I love cooking it is great to be able to share my basil, chives and Rosemary with our guests. To bad the tomatoes were not ready yet!! We would love to have you, Raymond, Lilian and Pierre return soon. Sunny warm regards, Debbie & Dan

We just returned from one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had. Casa de Isle on Taylor Bay is located in one of the best spots on the island. First of the all the house is spectacular (as another reviewer said: the pictures don't do it justice). The house is clean with all the amentities you will need; it will feel like your home away from home. Location is perfect. The pool was awesome. Taylor Bay is spectacular for sunbathing and just relaxing!!! The house is only 15 minutes from the airport and 20-25 minutes to Grace Bay. The owners, Dan and Debbie were incredible and helped make our stay even more memorable. Although, we just met them, it felt as if we had friends on the island. It gives you a certain level of comfort knowing there is someone on the island you can call if you needed something. From our arrival, they made sure our car was ready, they provided us with bottled water for the week, a cellphone for use on the island, Wifi and FREE phone service to the US (definitely added bonuses). Dan and Debbie: Thank you for your hospitality and kindness! We hope to see you soon again in TCI.

Owner response:Paul & Diane, Wow !!! Thanks for the geat review!! We really enjoyed having you and the girls here and are very happy you enjoyed the Island, Taylor Bay and our home. It was extremely rewarding to see how relaxed, happy and at home your entire family was here. We feel Casa de Isle must be Blessed by all the good carma from the families that stay here. We would love to have you return !! Warm Sunny regards, Debbie & Dan We wold love to have you return

Casa de Isle - a wonderful home base for our dream visit to T&C

Guest: Scott (Brooklyn, NY)
Date of Stay: 01/15/12 Review Submitted: 01/29/12

Many times when we travel the hotel is just the place we come at the end of the day to sleep. Casa de Isle, on the other hand, was a critical component of our wonderful first (of many!) trip to Turks and Caicos. Everything about the villa was perfect and enhanced our trip. It started with the friendliness of the Dawsons, who patiently answers all of our pre-trip questions and gave us invaluable advice both before and during our trip while at the same time respecting our privacy, warmly greeted us at the airport and helped us get settled in paradise. The personalized conch shell was an added bonus that we will treasure always! The location in Taylor Bay, on the quiet side of the island, was perfect for us. We enjoyed the quiet and privacy there in the mornings before heading over for the 15-20 minute drive to Grace Bay, only to return to Taylor Bay for breathtaking sunsets. The villa was incredibly well-stocked; besides the obvious basics, it had a number of added bonuses such as tennis equipment, floats which were perfect for Taylor Bay, binoculars, a small safe for valuables, and bottled water, to make our visit more enjoyable and to show how much the Dawsons go the extra mile for their guests. My only fear in sharing our wonderful experience is that word will get out and we'll have a hard time finding availability for our future trips, but as long as you don't take our week, you should definitely book a stay at Casa de Isle - you won't regret it!

Owner response:Scott and Adina, Thank you so much for the great review!!!! It is so rewarding for us to help assure that our guests have the vacation you deserve. We love the Turks and Caicos (especially Taylor Bay) and our home here.... we feel very blessed to be able to be able to share it with you and all the wonderful families that choose Casa de Isle. We look forward to your return !!! Warm, sunny regards, Debbie & Dan

Just what we were looking for...

Guest: Kimberly (Raleigh, NC)
Date of Stay: 08/08/11 Review Submitted: 10/25/11

For our 15th wedding anniversary, we wanted to retreat somewhere beautiful, secluded, quiet, and easy to travel to from RDU. This was PERFECT! The location was great for us - close enough to Grace Bay to enjoy the restaurants, etc, but far enough away to be quiet and secluded. The beach took maybe 4-5 minutes to walk to from the house, but usually there were only 2-3 other families there while we were there (we went in August). Our #1 priority was a beautiful beach with gorgeous water for swimming. YES! We found it! My imagination is incapable of creating such beauty (only the work of God's hand could do such a thing)! ADVENTURE: rent a jeep or something that can go on terrible roads if you're up for adventure - Malcolm's beach has great snorkeling. It's a trek, so take a picnic lunch. Good snorkeling also just around the right bend of Taylor Bay (on a calm day), and Turtle Cove? (I think that's the name). You don't need a tour guide or boat for those - right on the shore. May want to rent or bring your own snorkeling gear - there's is old and I couldn't find a mask that didn't leak. Also, on a calm day, kayak around the left bend of Taylor bay- so beautiful! (kayak provided) FOOD: best view for dining: Las Baisas (near Taylor Bay); best lunch on the beach (Somewhere @ Coral Gardens resort). Best grocery: Gormet in Grace Bay (esp if you're looking for good produce & meat). HOUSE: very nice, good kitchen, really nice pool, lovely wrap around deck with beautiful vegetation. We would love to come back and bring the kids, but the upstairs bedroom doesn't have a door and has no A/C, which is a problem in the summer. Other 2 bedrooms do have A/C. Deb (owner) was wonderful to work with, and very helpful! FOOD:

Owner response:Thank you so much for your reveiw and to know you had a perfect 15th Anniversary vacation. When we first came to the Island and found Taylor Bay we knew we had to build here. During the 7 months that we are here on island and taking care of our guests and the villa we fill very blessed and satisfied to share our home and to know we help to make sure our guests have the vacation they want and need. From about Nov.1 to Apr. 1st you don't need AC at night so you could bring the kids then. Carline made a point to let us know what really nice folks you are when we returned. So happy to know you have great memories. Sunny Regards Debbie & Dan

Wonderful Vacation Rental

Guest: Lyoness (Boston, MA)
Date of Stay: 05/01/11 Review Submitted: 05/29/11

We recently spent 10 wonderful days at Case de Isle. The house is perfectly situated just off Taylor Bay with wonderful views of the bay as well as Chalk Sound on the other side. We have been to Provo several times and this was our most relaxing vacation on the island as the house is so relaxing with the pool and deck to enjoy during the day and evening. The house is very well equipped with everything you could need for your stay from beach mats to kitchen utensils/pans and decorated so wonderfully. You can just bring your clothes, pick up some groceries at the IGA and drinks and you will be all set! Dan and Debbie were wonderful hosts and made sure that we had everything we needed and answered any questions we had. During our stay we rented kayaks from Las Brisas to explore Chalk Sound, enjoyed the pool and beach at Taylor Bay, took a sunset cruise on the Ataberya , did some shopping at the local culture market and Regent Village shops. We enjoyed some nice dinners at Las Brisas (closest restaurant to the house), Bay Bistro, and Magnolia as well as happy hour at Somewhere on the Beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa de Isle and look forward to returning as it truly felt like “home” for us. Thank you Debbie & Dan for your wonderful hospitality and home!

The pictures of Casa de Isle do not do it justice. It is truly the most perfect spot on the island. The villa is beautifully decorated with so much care being put into comfort. Deb and Dan (the owners) are so lovely. They met us at the airport and helped with our car rental. They were so helpful with their suggestions on what to do around the island. They make you feel like you are valued guests in their luxurious home. We love our conch shell and will treasure our memories of our time in your home. Taylor Bay is perfect for children and we enjoyed floating around. The sunsets from here are the perfect way to end the day. Grace Bay is a short drive away and it so fun checking out different parts of the beach. Our favourite restaurants were Bay Bistro, Flamingo Cafe and Las Brisas (which is very close to the villa -order the Sangria) The most perfect evenings were spent on the deck at the villa swimming in the warm pool. We can't wait to come back!!! Thanks for your hospitality!!!

We stayed at the beautiful Casa De Isle in January 2010. Meeting Dan and Deb made the vacation very special. The house is wonderful - comfortable, homey, and in a great location. You will not find a cleaner, more well-maintained property. Private and beautiful pool and deck. We enjoyed many "off the beaten track" experiences, which were recommended mostly by Dan and Deb. Exploring the island was definitely a highlight...even driving is an adventure not to be missed! Great snorkelling off Smith Reef. Fantastic sunsets. The Conch Shack is a fun place with liberally poured rum punch and yummy conch salad. Could go on and on, but you get the picture!

""Dan & Debbie, """" ""Dan & Debbie, Dan & Debbie """" (That's the song that Maggie was singing this whole trip) ha Thank You so much for your warm hospitality towards us - our trip was very last minute and you made everything go so smoothly ! We agree - your "airport service" helped to start our vacation off right ! Your home is lovely and the perfect location on the island. We love Taylor Bay (or sunset) and have found a new favorite vacation for our little family. The kids loved being at the house so much we could hardly even get them to go out to eat. Who would have thought, growing up on the west side of South Bend, that we would be enjoying our friends home in the Turks. What a beautiful home and life. You are so fortunate, and we are also, because you shared it with us ! Had an adventurous time at Pirate's Cave (oops ! that crazy ladder), fantastic food, weather, beaches, accommodations and the entire island. We are so happy for you. This is a memory that will last forever. Thank You so much for sharing your island and life with us. We love you ! 10-13-08 +1,000 points - (Dow)

The only thing that could have made it any better would have been more time. Got married right on Taylor Bay on the 27. Fabulous! Thought that hurricane Gustov was going to pose an issue, luckily rain for 1 night and 1 morning on the previous day. The wedding day was perfect. Pauline & Barry are wonderful! They said that we couldn't get lost driving, they were correct. With much appreciation.

The breathtaking view of Taylor Bay beckoned us immediately, and seeing only two other people on the beach was just heavenly. Pauline & Barry are incredible...so warm, welcoming and generous! The house is simply amazing! All the amenities of home and more. And Dan ... the study is fantastic! What a view! Your setup is perfect! Makes me what to sit and write the great American novel. And thanks for the Internet access - it kept us connected just enough to the real world. All-in all, an amazing 10th Anniversary trip for us! Thank You!

What a great vacation!! It was absolutely beautiful. The sun, surf and sand were great and the house was icing on the cake. Thank You for making so many amenities available here at the house. Pauline & Barry were excellent tour guides and because we were adventurous we saw all points of the island - Leeward to the South West Bluff, NW Point to Sapodilla Bay. Long Bay Beach, etc. I will always remember this trip, my first time to TCI where I snorkeled & kayaked for the first time! I have enjoyed the entire week at Casa de Isle. This home is very comfortable. I really love how it's tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of downtown and Grace Bay. I'm looking forward to my next trip back!
