Los Angeles house description

This corner lot duplex is drenched with light and very private, including an enclosed private patio and parking within the locked fence. 1 bedroom and 1 bath, Easy access to all freeways and down town LA, 3 blocks from the train. Good kitchen equipment, charming home. Home is technically a duplex but very separate from neighbors and feels like a private, single family home.

The Space
The house is very centrally located to freeways, the train, USC and downtown Los Angeles. It feels very private. The light in the house is beautiful and there is a completely private patio off the bedroom. There is a full kitchen and laundry, and a small office off the kitchen. There is a second bedroom that is an art studio and filled with painting equipment. It is not for sleeping, however it can be used for luggage storage.

Guest Access
This house is about 2 miles from I10, so there is quick access to everything. The Expo Line train stops 3 blocks from the house.
The neighborhood is very centrally located…within 10-15 minutes you can drive to downtown, Hollywood, and the beach. An amazing little oasis in the heart of Los Angeles.
The neighborhood, while once considered fringe, in the last few years has experienced a boom in real estate investment as the expanding Expo light rail line delivered new residents to the area.                   This property had great mojo from the start -- beautiful light, clean modern lines but over 100 years old. Although the apartment is small, about 900 sq. feet, it is arranged in a way that feels spacious and luxurious. The other half of the duplex opens onto another street, so there is a feeling of privacy. It's all surrounded by an iron gate, so the car can be pulled into the property.

                  The bedroom has glass doors that opens onto a completely private patio/garden with an 8 foot tall bamboo fence. The office/laundry area opens onto the patio also.The house is airy and bright. It is a charming oasis in the heart of Los Angeles.
