Stay Here!

We stayed in late January 2012 and had a wonderful time in this beautiful house. Owner was great to work with and very accommodating. Plenty of room for our volunteer team that was in town for a church restoration in the Lower Ninth. We enjoyed time at the neighborhood pub just two doors down -- what a hoot! Easy walk down to St. Charles to catch the trolley or find great places to dine. The backyard area was a welcome respite at the end of a long construction day. The house is beautifully furnished...nice linens...plenty of kitchen implements. THANKS, JP!

We had an awesome trip and loved all the time we spent at this great house. The owners were very helpful and had excellent communication throughout the whole process. Great location and the pictures don't do it justice...would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Stay

I just returned from vacation where I stayed in this beautiful home with my family. The owners were extremely nice and went out of the way to make sure we were welcome. We enjoyed spending time in the courtyard; eating dinner, relaxing or reading a book. Another plus was having a tv in all the bedrooms. If someone wanted to have some down time we all were not stuck watching the same tv program. The home was within a short walking distance to the street car so we were able to go downtown or other places without having to worry about parking. I am glad my cousin found and rented this home and if I get another opportunity to go to New Orleans I would definately try to stay here again.

I stayed here with some friends for the my 50th birthday. I loved the home, it is beautiful, great location, everything you would want or need. We stayed here in July and after being out and about in the HOT weather we could come back to our beautiful vacation place cool off and relax. I will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful place to stay.

This place is great. I stayed here in October 2009 for my daughter's wedding with a bunch of friends. Its convenient to everything. The patio is wonderful and was used for a number of bridal pictures. The couches in the living room are super comfy. The closet space is sparse but this is an old house. I highly recommend this place.

The pictures really do not do it justice. The home is beautiful! Everything we needed was there. It was just like home, only much much better. Everything was so close and easy to get around. We all had a fantastic time. We will be back! I would highly recommend the Louisiana Purchase. Stephanie gave us so many wonderful suggestions for food and entertainment. Everything was perfect. Great time with great friends in a beautiful and elegant home. Thanks for the memories!!

WOW! The home was beautiful and in a great neighborhood. Just two blocks off of St. Charles where the parades and street cars run. The French Quarter was so close and easy to get to by trolly that we we used it almost everyday! Great neighbors too. They were really friendly and helpful. The home was clean and cozy. Much better than a hotel. I will be back!
