Great place to stay in Kirkwood!

My family and I stayed here for a week and found the accommodations to be great--the condo is well laid out, close to the slopes and quiet. The condo was easy to get to, had garage parking, and had luggage carts available in the garage (which I really appreciated), and was a short walk / ski down to the lift chairs. The bench and ski hooks in the foyer were a very nice touch and really made getting geared up/down easy. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Right on the Slopes

This unit is perfect for medium sized families with any age children. It feels spacious, but cozy and has a nice kitchen. Once you walk out the front door, in less than 60 seconds you can be on the slopes. Easy in and out for lunch, and the parking is great as it is completely covered. Nice because our dog loved coming along as well. I would highly recommend this place and owner.

The perfect Kirkwood condo

This was our third long MLK weekend at this condo, and our best yet. We love staying here because Snowcrest is one of the nicer buildings at Kirkwood, and this first-floor unit is in a great location for getting in and out to the slopes quickly. The condo has a nice big entryway for boots, skis and jackets, with a fireplace to help warm up quickly. The kitchen is well-equipped, with a gas stove and all the utensils we need -- important since there aren't too many good places to eat at Kirkwood. The unit is always clean and well-equipped, and has a great layout, with the living room separating the two bedrooms. We recommend it highly, unless you are thinking of booking MLK weekend, which we think of as ours!

Fantastic Kirkwood ski in/ski out condo

If you're looking for a true ski in/ski out condo, this is the place for you. The condo is on the ground floor, so an easy walk to the snow and quick access to lifts 5 and 6. The condo itself is spacious and well furnished - a home away from home. An underground garage space comes with the rental, so no need to dig out the car at the end of the vacation. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Stay!

Hello - we are a family of 4 w/ 2 teenaged kids. This is our 7th year skiing at Kirkwood over our kids' Spring Break. This is our 1st year staying in a VRBO condo, however. We will definitely use this service to stay here again! This unit was exactly as described and met every expectation. We really enjoyed having a unit with a street + Meadow view - it was much more entertaining than if we were looking at a snowbank out the back. The ski-in/-out feature was very handy for us: we were able to come in for breaks and lunch with very little effort. The kitchen is fully equipped and saved us money by our cooking and eating in, rather than going out to eat (which has limited choices anyway). We enjoyed the little 'extras' that the owners have thought of to make this an exceptional rental home. I will also add that this unit was not where we were supposed to stay originally - the unit we had originally rented had a problem, so we had to switch at the last minute. The owners of both units were gracious in arranging this switch, and they worked together to turn what could have been a disastrous vacation into a pleasurable week for us. Thank you, owners! :)

Holiday Retreat

Our family had a wonderful experience at this condo. We have rented many properties in ski areas over the years and this was one of the best equipped, cleanest and well maintained. It seemed clear that extra efforts were taken to make this a real vaction retreat not just a ski rental. The added bonus was being able to take our dog. We really appreciated that the owners were able to create a beautiful unit and still allow our family pet. We hope to return to Snowcrest again soon!

Great place and great owner

This condo is all that is listed and so much more! It is clean and comfortable with all sorts of extras (games, books, movies, music, etc.). The owner was great help with getting us there and what was in the area (we had never been to Kirkwood before). He was quick to respond to any questions during our stay, he was great to work with and made every effort to make sure we had a great stay. I would recommend this property to all - we hope to return! Thanks for a great vacation!

We just returned from 5 wonderful days in Snowcrest 105. Everything was perfect. With the ski in/ski out location the skiers in our family could head for the slopes whenever they wanted, drop back in for lunch, then head out for the afternoon. The condo is beautiful and very well-equipped. We hope to return next year!
