Completely remodeled this year!! New carpets,new paint, hardwood floors throughout 1st and 2nd floor,new comforters and new sofa! Like staying in a brand new home!!! And it's on the bay!
This is a beautiful, new, gated community located on 67th ST. There is a one mile trail around the community for walking, jogging, biking, etc. There is a corner store and an interactive fountain that the kids can run through! There is a large fitness center and a private cafe overlooking the bay - right next to the private pool!! There is an indoor and outdoor pool.
There is a crabbing pier and three private beaches on the bay. The ocean and beach are just two short blocks away! You are walking distance to mini golf, ice cream, go-carts, restaurants/bars and shopping!! There are some excellent golf courses nearby (we have phone # if you want to make tee times!)The boardwalk is about 10 miles away. There are amusement parks and waterparks nearby also!
Our townhouse overlooks the bay so you can watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets! It has four decks/balconies, two overlook the bay. The townhouse has four floors. The first floor has a private den with a Queen sleeper sofa and a TV.(This is the 5th bedroom or a play area for children.)
There is a half bath on this floor. There is also a laundry room with a washer and dryer.
The second floor has a very large, open kitchen and family room. The kitchen has granite counter tops and anything you would need in a kitchen! There is a deck off the kitchen and off the living room. There is a half bath on this floor also.
The third floor has a master bedroom with a large, full bathroom. There are two sinks, a stand up shower and a large whirlpool tub (no jets, thought) There are two smaller bedrooms. One has twin bunkbeds and the other one has a full bed with a pull out twin trundle bed under it. There is also a full bathroom in the hallway.
The fourth floor is quite private! There is just one bedroom with a queen bed and a separate full bathroom. There is also a private balcony that overlooks the bay!
**Non-primetime weeks, weekends and mini-weeks are subject to $85
cleaning fee.
***Association charges $95 for 6 pool passes and 3 parking passes. Paid at check in.

We packed 7 adults and 4 little kids into this home and fit so comfortably. There was room for everyone to gather as well as to go off and enjoy some private time. The varios decks offer such a great way to spread out. Laundry room was a huge help. Loved the private 4th floor. My husband and I used that bedroom while we had our youngest daughter, 2, sleep in her pack and play on the landing outside our door. So convenient. Everything about the property was wonderful. We did not however, like all of the rules that went along with staying in the community. They were a little overwhelming and difficult to follow when having young children.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The house was great! It is a perfect location between the pool and beach. We loved sitting on the back decks and enjoying the view. Sunset island is a wonderful community and this was our 4th time renting there. We will definitely be in touch with Jennifer again!!

We had a really graet time. The community is beautiful. It is very peaceful, especially after being on the go all day. The house is nice and has everything you may need while on vacation. There are plenty of games(we did not find until our last night) for everyone. Jennifer is a great person to work with and if we ever need a place in OC she will be our first pick!!
