What a great place and wha a great time. Tararindo is a terrific place for a get-away-from-it-all vacation and Bob Wrobel's villa is perfect accomodation for it. Location is very convenient to the best resaurants and for surfers, it can' be beat. Be sure to visit the Monkey Park (on the way from Liberia) and the canopy tours. Low tide is best for snorkeling and SCUBA; best waves for us were in front of Casa Cook and at Lola's Place at Playa Avellanes. We're looking forward to a return visit soon.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We had a great time staying in this house. It has everything you need right there, and it's in a nice location. The pool was great for relaxing after a hard day of surfing. Everything I hoped it would be and more.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We were in Tamarindo the week of April 3rd. The villa was exactly as Robert described it. We made use of the DVD player and rented a few movies from the video store down the road. We enjoyed our stay especially lounging around the pool having a drink with a few of your neighbors. Our gratitude to Robert's property manager Gerald Desmonds for his assistance and willingness to provide information. Tamarindo is very beautiful and we found the restaurants, Drangonfly Grill comes to mind, to be fantastic.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Great Location in NW Guanacaste.3 blocks to the beach, gated and fenced, guard on property at gate and walking perimeter 24/7 and in Costa Rica this is neccessary. New, quality furnishings, fine pool right outside and hammock to swing away your worries. Owner is involved so you will be treated right.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We stayed in Robert's home over our February winter vacation in Tamarindo. What a great trip! For a family with young teenagers, the house was perfect. Great air conditioning, quiet neighborhood (Tamarindo can be noisy) and everything in the house was as described and in excellent condition. Being a short walk "up the hill" from town gets you out of the noise and dust. Robert was an excellent source of information about travel, surfing and the town. Everything he told us was "dead on." It was a pleasure to meet him at the end of our week! Thanks again, and we can't wait to return to Costa Rica.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

About the owner: Living in Indiana, beach vacations are a must for my husband and me. We were once hooked on Mexican resorts. Thanks to a hurricane, we tried Costa Rica and fell in love with country as soon as we stepped off the plane. A few years later, we met with the realtor and happened upon the house that was just perfect for us. This is our only vacation property and we truly think of it as our house, not just an rental.
