Located on Medano Beach (the main beach in Cabo San Lucas), Villa La Estancia is a full-time ownership community with all the services of a five-star resort, including 24-hour front desk, concierge service, pool-side restaurants, executive fitness center, tennis courts, beautiful pools and ocean view hot tubs. Guests also have signing privileges next door at Villa Del Palmar, including two additional restaurants, a children's program, work out facility and a full European spa. The complex also features a supermarket, deli, ice cream parlor, internet cafe, video rental store and pharmacy.
Choose from two different 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom condos at Villa la Estancia. One offers ground level convenience (sleeps 8) and the other offers a 5th floor view (sleeps 8).
Both units feature a master bedroom with king size bed, sitting area, armoire with color TV, large closets and an oversize bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, separate shower and double marble sinks. The guest bedroom offers two queen size beds, armoire with color TV, large closets and full size bath with shower over tub. There is also a queensize convertable sofa in the living room.
Our elegantly furnished living rooms feature an entertainment center with color TV, DVD and stereo CD player. The formal dining room offers seating for six, and a breakfast bar for four. The full kitchen has an oven and microwave, dishwasher, side by side refrigerator with ice and water dispenser, small appliances including toaster, blender and coffee maker, dishware, glassware and flatware for eight, plus all cookware and kitchen utensils. There is an adjacent full bathroom with shower, a large pantry and washer and dryer.
The spacious outdoor patios are the perfect place to enjoy the cool ocean breeze and have seating for six plus lounge chairs, propane BBQ, a wet bar and mini-fridge and ocean view.
Broadband internet is included with all rentals, so bring your laptop. A Vonage phone system is also included allowing you free unlimited calls to and from the U.S. and Canada. Or visit the full service business center where you can send and receive faxes, check email, make copies or write documents.

Top notch accommodations. The condo was huge and well maintained; in fact, the owners had just recently restocked the place. It was the perfect set up for a young family (our kids are 7, 5, and 2). It was, at most, a 30-second walk to the pool and a 1-minute walk to the beach. No need to rent a car, as the $7 cab rides in to town are the way to go. The management team at the resort was quite security conscious and willing to help. We would defitnitely recommend this unit to family and friends. There is simply no comparison when it comes to this unit versus trying to fit a similar group in to a hotel. If you are going to Cabo, VLE, and this unit in particular, is the way to go.
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers.

I've rented a lot of places through VRBO but this is the first time I've felt copelled to write a review. We just returned from staying at Bob's 5th floor condo at Villa La Estancia and it was perfect. The grounds at this complex are spectacular. The moment you pull up to the main gate (yes the area is gated) and see these 3 beautiful resorts you know it is something special. There are 3 new resorts side by side with Villa La Estancia being the center one and the nicest one. The grounds are gorgeous, the pool area is awesome and the condo unit itself is nicer than the pictures shown. We rented the entire 5th floor unit for 2 couples. Each couple having their own suite. Internet was super fast, we were able to keep managing our fantasy baseball teams. Free calling to the US was really nice, especially on Mother's Day. Having a full kitchen was great. We cooked breakfast every morning and grilled steaks on the huge deck in the evening. We walked the beach but mostly stayed by the pool. Very quiet and relaxing. Great drink service, food service right to your pool chair, swim up bar, could not be better. Advice: The little market in the complex is VERY convenient but pretty pricey. Any market in any resort would be. Also, they do not sell meats in there. Have the bellman get you a taxi (they'll be there in 2 minutes) and take the 10 minute drive to Wal-Mart for your groceries and supplies. It is $8 each way AND the driver will wait for you if you ask. He waited for us (maybe because I hadn't paid him yet) and we were back to our room all stocked up in less than an hour for $20. Advice: Take a water taxi to the marina. They will pick you up right on the beach in front of the resort. I think it was $4 a person, we just gave him a 20 for the 4 of us. Tons of shops and bars at the marina. We walked as far as Cabo Wabo for lunch and then back to the marina. Then hired a water taxi to give us a tour of Lover's Beach, Land's End and the famous Arch and then back to our resort. I think that was $10 each. Where else can you get a private boat tour and transportation to your hotel for $10 a person. I love Cabo! Time Shares: I had read to expect getting hit on for timeshares. Aside from arrival at the airport we were NEVER approached or asked about timeshares anywhere. Not at Villa La Estancia, not at the marina, nowhere. GREAT VACATION. We'll be back.

My husband and I recently stayed at this property to celebrate our anniversary and were extremely pleased. Having travelled extensively around the world, we have high expectations for service and quality. This property delivered in every way. The owner's pictures are very up-to-date and accurately depict the unit and grounds. The pool, fitness center, beach and overall grounds are very clean and well tended. Property is 10-15 minutes walk from town or short taxi ride to the marina/restaurant area. The unit is large and comfortable, and has a well stocked kitchen. We only rented the "A" side (master bedroom with kitchen, living, etc.) however, there is a second bedroom side available for two couples or a family. Two full baths, a large jacuzzi tub, large walk-in showers, double sinks...it's all very comfortable. The deck is huge as well and has a fantastic view of the pool and ocean, and it includes table and chairs, chaise lounge chairs, outdoor fridge and gas grill. We would highly recommend this property for couples who want a quiet, peaceful, relaxing vacation. There were very few younger people, not many children at all. Nearby sister properties would lend themselves better to children or partying singles.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+.
