Upon entering through the private gate, you will be surrounded by the beautiful garden of this charming villa situated in the hills just above the famous "Croisette," in Cannes. Constructed in the 1920's, it possesses the beautiful arquietecture of that era, and is located in the beautiful area known as "Le California."
This is a two-story, Mediterranean Villa with picturesque views of the sea. Once inside, the original parquet floors will lead you up to the living room in warm tones of yellows with a woodburning fireplace and ten-foot high ceilings. Both the living room and dining room have large glass doors which open out to the large terrace and down to the garden. There is a large iron table on the terrace for dining "al fresco." The beautiful French kitchen leads to a seperate outside area with a covered patio with propane bar- b- que. There is a full bathroom with a shower off of the kitchen.
There are three bedrooms upstairs which each have their own balcony. When you walk up the stairs you will enter the master bedroom with warm provencal tones and an extra large comfortable king-size bed. The second bedroom contains two twin beds and the last bedroom has a queen-size bed. The entire villa is decorated with antique crystal chandeliers as well as antique furniture. The upstairs bathroom has both a shower and claw-footed bathtub. The villa can sleep 6 people.
The villa is close to town - just a five minute drive to the center of Cannes, the Croisette with its famous beaches, and easy access to world class shopping on rue d'Antibes. The A8 is nearby with a quick drive up the coast to Monaco and Italy, or make the short drive down to St. Tropez. Eze, Grasse, and St. Paul Vence are all just a short drive away.
There is a seperate guest house on the property that will sleep an additional 2-3 people. The house has a living room, dining area, kitchen, bedroom and bath.
It can be rented along with the villa or seperately.
