Situated just under a mile from the famous Craigville Beach, your stay at Hyannisport Hideaway will be enhanced by its proximity to this wonderful warm Nantucket Sound beach with 5 miles of sand. It is one of the largest and most popular on Cape Cod. The water is a very pleasant temperature until early September, and the gentle swells are refreshing compared to more placid Cape waters. It is generally free of seaweed and rocks, as well. The long beach and foamy surf make for beautiful walks in quieter seasons.
We provide you with a FREE beach pass that will allow you to access all of the Barnstable Beaches. That includes amazing Sandy Neck beach with a lighthouse, 9,000-acre preserve with dunes, bird life, marshes, and shellfish (but a bit of a drive at 10 miles). Covell Beach, Keys Beach, Veterans Beach, Kalmus Beach (great for wind surfing) are all less than 2 miles from our home.
"Thank you so much for the use of your lovely home. We had a great time. The house is wonderful. You have done a terrific job of stocking everything one can possibly need. It was so nice having a few staples to use... I just can't say how thankful we are to have been able to stay in such a nice, clean place. It made all the difference in our vacation. We enjoyed having the bikes, AC, the W/D...just everything." - says a native Cape Codder who moved away but keeps on returning to visit our lovely area.
After spending the day enjoying your seaside adventures, you will return to a tranquil home that will welcome you with its quiet pleasures. Experience the delight of la dolce vita in this well-appointed home and grounds! Have your morning coffee on the sun-drenched porch, rest in the shady front yard, cook up your fresh catch on the grill, relax with a book or play a game with your family! For those who need to keep in touch with the office or surf the web during downtime, high speed wireless access is available free of charge.
"Since this was the first time renting a home over the internet, I was a little nervous, however, I couldn't have picked a more comfortable, warm, fully equipped, inviting home." - says a guest who became a regular visitor at Hyannisport Hideaway
The kitchen is fully applianced, including dishwasher, microwave, stove, refrigerator, coffeemaker, blender, and all of requisite pots, pans, dinnerware and flatware. We will provide you with a high quality 100% cotton European bed linen and fluffy towels. There's hair dryer, iron, paper products to make your packing easier. No need to drag your beach towels and chairs on vacation with you - we will supply those as well. Leave room for your purchases - Cape Cod Mall is less than 4 miles away!
While Hyannisport Hideaway is sheltered from the energy and noise of Cape in summer, it's a quick drive (less than 2 miles) to the vibrant Main St in Hyannis, home to the Kennedy Museum, numerous restaurants, ice cream parlors, bookshops, boutiques, a carousel, and family amusement centers. Enjoy Thursday night parade or listen to live music in one of the pubs. Take a ferry to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket, catch a whale-watching cruise out of Barnstable Harbor, a deep sea fishing expedition from Hyannis, take a drive along Old King's Highway and do a little antiquing, catch a game of golf at any of the nearby golf courses or just enjoy the sea breeze in the backyard. Whatever is your idea of summer fun on the Cape, Hyannisport Hideaway can make your stay more memorable!
"The beaches are wonderful and the scenery amazing. We all fell in love with Hyannis Port and can highly recommend it anyone wishing to discover New England and Cape Cod." -comments from our Kent, U.K. guests

Well Appointed Beach House in a Private and Serene Location
Year Purchased: 2005
Why the Owner Chose Hyannis Port
Cape Cod has such a unique appeal and so many towns have gorgeous beaches, wonderful parks, trails, restaurants and more. We chose to settle in the mid-Cape area, especially around Hyannis, because we love all of the entertainment options Hyannis area has to offer, in addition to beautiful beaches.
It has a nice shady area with picnic tables and children playground

Most enjoyable way to spend our anniversary

Thank you so much for sharing your home with us for our Cape Cod holiday. We arranged our accomodation at Hyannis Hideaway more than two months in advance; therefore, had much anticipation and excitement leading up to our arrival. As we got closer in our twelve hour drive we began to get nervous about what to expect. We had sent off a cheque to someone we had never seen. What if this place doesn't exist? Not only did it exist, but it was most beautiful. The interent pictures of the home were exactly the way the home is set up. Cleanliness and attention to detail is certainly at the forefront of the owners. Mother-in-law who flew in for a few days was very impressed with all of the modern appliances and comforts of home. She was very happy with the choice of our Hyannis Hideaway. The kitchen and dining area made for enjoyable Cape Cod cooking and conversations. Cooking in the big kitchen did not seem to be a chore like at home. We actually enjoyed our home cooked meals much more than the evenings we went out! The living room area is a comfy, cozy place to unwind after long days. After a few night caps on the deck, retiring the the airconditioned bedrooms was an added pleasure. The boys were very intigued by and raced home to the outdoor shower after our days at the Beach! The nautical theme throughout the home adds to the Cape Cod experience. It was the most enjoyable way to spend our 18th Wedding Anniversary with our boys. We hope to return to Cape Cod again and will plan early to ensure a vacancy the Hyannis Hideaway. We really appreciated the bikes available in the garage for our rides to the convenience store for a morning paper and for Julia's extra efforts with suggestions and ideas, adding to our great holiday!

My wife, myself and our two children (both under 5) stayed in the Hyannisport Hideaway in July this year. The house is perfectly located a few mins from the beach, supermarket and downtown Hyannis. It's spacious, furnished to a high standard, with a great kitchen and a lovely garden which the kids spent lots of time playing in. I'd thoroughly recommend staying here.

I can't express my gratitude for letting us stay in your home during the week of August 20-August 27. My family and I loved everything about the home. The home had everything that we needed for the week, from beach towels, boogie boards, bicycles, cleaning detergents to the loaded spice rack and condiments. The home was located very close to the beach which was a plus for our family and was well kept. The only thing regret I have is that I didn't stay another week; however, we will be back next year. Thanks again!
Owner response:Dear Oscar, Thank you again for choosing Hyannisport Hideaway and for your kind words. We are so glad you enjoyed your time on the Cape and found our home comfortable. Looking forward to welcoming your family again. Regards, Julia.

This is a truly great property. We stayed here in late April with our 2 kids, and had plenty of room to run (and hide). The back yard was big with plenty of room to play and tire the kiddos out. I particularly loved the kitchen, with all new appliances, and plenty of room to work in. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms mean no lines and that everyone has there own space. There were so many things that were there to make our stay so much more enjoyable (beach pass, ferry schedule, a plethora of area restaurant menus etc)We had a great time and definately would stay here again and again. PS....there were beach chairs and beach toys in the garage (a BIG plus if you['re traveling with kids and limiited cargo space....)

My husband, daughter, our 2 dogs and myself vacationed in Cape Cod this September and had a wonderful time and this house added to our enjoyment. It was very cosy, clean and had everything you would need for your stay. It's in a very quiet, secluded area, with a private back yard, yet it was centrally located to all the activities we had planned during our vacation. And the air conditioning was a definite plus. I would not hesitate to recommend this house to friends and family and hope to make a return visit soon.

It is always slightly worrying sending off money to a person you have never met to book a property you hope exists. However, do not hesitate to do so in this case. The property is lovely and even better than the description and the whole booking process was handled very efficiently - my breakage deposit was returned within a week. The owners have thought of everything to make their property a real home from home- coffe, tea washing up liquid was all there. We particularly appreciated the beach pass which allowed us to park at many local private beaches. We would thoroughly recommend Hyannis Port Hideaway for a holiday.

We had a fantastic stay at Hyannisport Hideaway , the accomodation was great and the beach pass extremely useful . The visitor information provided before and during our stay was fantastic , very thorough with any conceivable question answered . We felt the added touches of having condiments and basics available in the kitchen , and the use of beach and outdoor equipment made our stay much easier , a real home from home. Many thanks to Julia for her timely and helpful replies when planning our trip . I would recommend this property to anyone , Jo Cartwright and family

We enjoyed a fabulous week at Hyannisport Hideaway. The outside shower with warm water is just wonderful and it was great to have all the water and beach toys for the kids. We had so much fun chasing each other with the water pistols in the garden. The house has all you need and more, even a very fast WiFi connection. We would love to come back one day. Thanks, Julia from Christel & Dieter
