I can't express my gratitude for letting us stay in your home during the week of August 20-August 27. My family and I loved everything about the home. The home had everything that we needed for the week, from beach towels, boogie boards, bicycles, cleaning detergents to the loaded spice rack and condiments. The home was located very close to the beach which was a plus for our family and was well kept. The only thing regret I have is that I didn't stay another week; however, we will be back next year. Thanks again!
Owner response:Dear Oscar, Thank you again for choosing Hyannisport Hideaway and for your kind words. We are so glad you enjoyed your time on the Cape and found our home comfortable. Looking forward to welcoming your family again. Regards, Julia.

My wife, myself and our two children (both under 5) stayed in the Hyannisport Hideaway in July this year. The house is perfectly located a few mins from the beach, supermarket and downtown Hyannis. It's spacious, furnished to a high standard, with a great kitchen and a lovely garden which the kids spent lots of time playing in. I'd thoroughly recommend staying here.

This is a truly great property. We stayed here in late April with our 2 kids, and had plenty of room to run (and hide). The back yard was big with plenty of room to play and tire the kiddos out. I particularly loved the kitchen, with all new appliances, and plenty of room to work in. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms mean no lines and that everyone has there own space. There were so many things that were there to make our stay so much more enjoyable (beach pass, ferry schedule, a plethora of area restaurant menus etc)We had a great time and definately would stay here again and again. PS....there were beach chairs and beach toys in the garage (a BIG plus if you['re traveling with kids and limiited cargo space....)

My husband, daughter, our 2 dogs and myself vacationed in Cape Cod this September and had a wonderful time and this house added to our enjoyment. It was very cosy, clean and had everything you would need for your stay. It's in a very quiet, secluded area, with a private back yard, yet it was centrally located to all the activities we had planned during our vacation. And the air conditioning was a definite plus. I would not hesitate to recommend this house to friends and family and hope to make a return visit soon.

It is always slightly worrying sending off money to a person you have never met to book a property you hope exists. However, do not hesitate to do so in this case. The property is lovely and even better than the description and the whole booking process was handled very efficiently - my breakage deposit was returned within a week. The owners have thought of everything to make their property a real home from home- coffe, tea washing up liquid was all there. We particularly appreciated the beach pass which allowed us to park at many local private beaches. We would thoroughly recommend Hyannis Port Hideaway for a holiday.

We had a fantastic stay at Hyannisport Hideaway , the accomodation was great and the beach pass extremely useful . The visitor information provided before and during our stay was fantastic , very thorough with any conceivable question answered . We felt the added touches of having condiments and basics available in the kitchen , and the use of beach and outdoor equipment made our stay much easier , a real home from home. Many thanks to Julia for her timely and helpful replies when planning our trip . I would recommend this property to anyone , Jo Cartwright and family

We enjoyed a fabulous week at Hyannisport Hideaway. The outside shower with warm water is just wonderful and it was great to have all the water and beach toys for the kids. We had so much fun chasing each other with the water pistols in the garden. The house has all you need and more, even a very fast WiFi connection. We would love to come back one day. Thanks, Julia from Christel & Dieter

What a fantastic hoilday on Cape Cod!!My fiance and I stayed at Hyannis Port Hideaway 23 May - 6 June 2009. We found the house extremely welcoming, cosy and clean. All needs were catered for, and we especially appreciated the clean sheets and towels as not all vacation homes offer this - and as we are from Scotland, this saved a lot of space in our suitcase!! Also, the laundry washer and dryer (and detergent provided!) came in very handy indeed. Another favourite was the well stocked kitchen - we ate all our meals in here as it was so bright and cosy. We also had some lovely bike rides (on the bikes provided) to Craigville beach which is only a few minutes away (there are quite a few beaches nearby). I could go on and on... I would thoroughly recommend this house, and we will most definitely go back!!

My husband and I and our two young childrend stayed almost a week at the Hyannisport Hideaway this spring. Our children felt at home instantly, as did we, and we were plesasantly surprised at how well-kept the whole place was. We have never seen a better-stocked kitchen, where we ate most of our meals, and we appreciated the attention to detail throughout the entire house! Our children were delighted with the chocolates left on the pillows and we adults were delighted with the cleanliness and brightness of the place. On top of that, all of our interactions with the owners have been pleasant and made us feel welcome. The house is also conveniently located to downtown Hyannis and several beaches. We highly recommend it to all!

We had a lovely stay at this charming property. Set in a quiet residential area we were unaware of the presence of another soul most of the time. Surrounded by woodland, there was plenty of both shade and sunny areas at different times of the day. The house is very well equipped and maintained inside. The owner is very organised indeed and we had no hitches in payment or information on the property and all arrangements. All in all, highly recommended. Have a great trip!

Ideally situated on the Cape, I would recommend this to anyone wanting a complete break but with everything at hand. Hyannis Hideaway has all the necessities and more - you'll love it!

This was an excellent property in an excellent location. Julia made the arrangements very simple, including making the payments. We would have no problem in rcommending this property without reservation. Having stayed in many independent properties in the UK, France and Italy this stands among the very best we have visited. Cape Cod is a world class holiday (vacation)resort; it is fantastic when the accommodation matches the location!!!!

We loved our trip to Hyannis. The property was very clean and the appliances were very high quality. We loved the huge kitchen and, since we have two children (2 and 4), we stayed home and cooked our dinners. The neighborhood is very quiet and we enjoyed our stay. I will recommend it to families with young children. However, you need a car to go to the beaches or to the stores.

This house is one of the best that we stayed in! The location and the atmospher combined with the well equiped home are just great. We had in the house everything that we could think of, in the kitchen, in the bed rooms, in the living room in the bath rooms and in the garden; DVD's, books, toys, bikes, chairs for the beach etc. etc. So much thought went into making this house a beautifull and usefull as it is! We enjoyed it very much and will be happy to return to it in our next vacation.

My wife and I, travelling from Ireland, recently spent a week at the Hyannisport Hideaway along with our son and his girlfriend who had journeyed up from N.Jersey. Having sourced this house on the internet we were a bit apprehensive that it may not live up to its description but our fears were unfounded. We found the house to be spotless, bright, secluded and to have every requirement that we could need for a relaxed and stressfree holiday. Our booking and correspondence was dealt with promptly and professionally by Julia and we have no hesitation in recommending this property to other holidaymakers. We would most certainly book this accommodation again ourselves.

We were attracted to this property as it seemed to have those little extras that were usefull when booking a family holiday - and boy were they there! everyting possible was thought of .from our first enquiry to the return from our holiday Julia and Chuck have been very very helpfull by supplying names of places to shop or eat at and answers to endless questions we have had . at first it was a bit worrying sending off money through paypal , but there were no problems at all and i wouldnt hesitate to book again . Our only problem was just not enough time to explore such a beautiful place and maybe just a week or so too early to peep at those leaves !! Hyanniport hideaway is just a perfect setting , secluded among trees with the only noise being the crickets ! Craigville beach is only a 5 min drive away , and a few others within 10 mins . Ther 1856 general store in centreville is lovely and full of gift ideas . Spankys clam shack and tugboats are lovely places to eat snd so reasonably priced too , well worth checking out !! overall a realy lovely house in a realy lovely place made it a realy lovely holiday .

My husband, daughter and baby and Aunt & Uncle from England recently stayed at this wonderful house in Cape Cod. It was everything we could have imagined and more. The decoraion is tasteful and comfortable with nothing lacking. The kitchen is huge and very spacious for a large family to dine. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable with beautiful clean linens. Plenty of towels are available. The two bathrooms were a beautifuls surprise for 5 people. Always a spare toilet! Even though only one bathroom had a shower, it was helpful to have the extra toilet with the washer & dryer. Our laundry could be done without holding up the shower room. The garden was just wonderful. Much larger than expected and beautifully landscaped. I can't think of anything that the house lacked. The beach nearby is great. I can recommend the house to anyone without reservation. We have stayed on the Cape many times and this house is by far the nicest yet. We were extremely surprised when the VCR would not work and was replaced immediately with a new one (we needed it only for the baby videos for our grandaugter Ava!). Thank you so much Julia for your prompt attention. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Our experience, as our first time in Cape Cod, was amazing in large part because of the property (location and comfort). It is very well taken care of and you really feel at home. Overall, a great experience. Since this was not a referral, we found information online, we were somewhat hesitant. We would definitely go back and are recommending it to friends.

It was a pleasure visiting Hyannis and staying in such a nice place. I live in NY city and having a back yard to do yoga while looking at the trees, smell the fresh morning air, and walk to the beach (albeit a 1 mile walk), was a pleasure. I had no qualms about using PayPal to pre-pay the vacation and the refund of the deposit was immediate.

A brilliant base for a family holiday to the Cape. Very close to the Nantucket ferry, whale watching boats from Barnstable and many beautiful beaches but so quiet and peaceful to return to in the evenings. The house is very comfortably furnished and thoughtfully equipped making it easy to take care of and entertain a family away from home. Also within easy driving distance, Hyannis Main Street and Mall offer a great variety of shopping, bars and restaurants. Finally, we found the whole booking, payment and check in and out process really straightforward - thanks Julia!

It is exactly as Julia(the owner) describes it and is in a perfect location to explore the Cape or just laze on the nearby beaches. It has every amenity you could possibly require and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. I will admit to being somewhat doubtfull regarding handing over personal details direct to someone I have never met but Julia was a pleasure to deal with and a great help not only with the booking process but with any queries we had. My wife, Inge, and I came over from Denmark with our grown-up son and Inge's mother and stayed at Julia and Chuck's house in Hyannisport. It was simply a fantastic vacation and the house had everything one needs to live luxuriously. The whole rental was done over the net and every aspect (including our payment by credit card) went without a hitch. Julia and Chuck met us when we arrived and gave us a few pointers, and then we were left on our own in a house that contained every vacation and household amenity imaginable -- all brand new, or nearly so. We really had an excellent vacation at Hyannisport Hideaway, and I highly reccommend it for anyone considering a week or two on the Cape. We hope to come back someday.

We stayed February 24-25 and used the house as a base for a few of us who were running in the Hyannis Half Marathon. We couldn't have been happier with the experience and were able to take advantage of the off season rates, so it ended up being much cheaper than a hotel. The house is accurately depicted on your Web site (although we were surprised as it was much bigger than we had envisioned it). Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen is a cook's dream. All of the little touches you have thought of -- from condiments to hair driers to towels and linens -- made packing for our weekend away very easy. Best of all for people who had run 13.1 miles were the incredibly comfortable beds! Thanks again. We hope to be back very soon.

We stayed at the Hyannisport Hideaway in early August, and were extremely happy with our choice. We've rented houses for over 15 years, and the Hideaway was the most well-equipped house we've ever experienced. Our 8 yr.old twins loved the beach toys, games, books, and boogie boards, while we loved not having to pack beach chairs, towels, and other cooking/grocery essentials. The house provided easy access to other Cape locations and included lots of tourist info. and maps to help plan our days. The house definitely added to the quality of our trip.
