This condo is located right on the mountain at Copper Mountain Ski Resort. It is one block from Center Village. This ski-in unit is below a beautiful forrest & non-ski mountain. It is situated between C-Lift and American Eagle Lift. The ski trails will allow you to ski up to your front door. This is a ground floor end unit and has a lower level ground floor parking garage. The outdoor hot tub is close to the unit. Enjoy HS wireless internet and 2 flat screen TV's.
Sleeping Arrangements: The bedroom has a King size bed, walk-in closet and wall mounted flat screen TV. There is a full size innerspring futon in the family room. This unit sleeps a maximum of four.
Floor Plan: This unit has been remodeled, refurnished and tastefully redecorated in a warm mountain theme. In the family room there is a flat screen TV/DVD and a gas fireplace. Just off of the family room is the full kitchen with microwave, dishes, pots/pans, baking dishes and utensils. There is a full bath. There is also a private ski locker next to the front door. A laundry room is available in the complex. This condo is 604 square feet.

Nicely decorated - ski in unit, practically right up to the door. You do have a bit of a hike to get back out and get to a lift though (listing says ski in/ski out – it’s not a ski out). It's a ground floor unit, and the garage is ground floor, but the ground floor is two different levels, so if you have a lot to carry, be aware that there are a fair amount of steps from the garage to the unit. The hot tub is close... as in right outside the door, so if there are people that like to party in the hot tub until wee hours of the night, you might want to join them because you won’t be able to sleep. There is absolutely no view (mountain view stated in listing) from inside the condo, and if you open the shades to let light in, every person walking by to their condo or to the hot tub will practically be in the condo with you. Because of this we kept the shades closed. Open would have been better but we felt very exposed when we did this. Parking is limited. When we came back from a short trip the garage was full. I ended up parking outside in a space that I wasn’t sure if I would get towed or not. I worried about it all day. The dishes and silverware all required washing before use. Some, I’m sure, were never washed in the first place… food runs down the sides of pans, chunks on the silverware, etc. The dishwasher doesn’t appear to work well either, which doesn’t help. Hot water is very limited. One shower and no hot water for an hour and a half to two hours. There were only two of us, so we worked around it. It would be tough with more people. The ski locker is handy, but you will get wet. The roof drips continuously right outside the door and right over the ski locker. Be aware that there will be no soap, shampoo/conditioner provided. Not a big deal but I have never stayed anywhere that this was not provided and was not prepared, so unfortunately it meant a run to the store right away, which I was not planning on. The floor is very cold, no matter what the heat is set on, so take slippers. The entry is rather small and tough for two people to enter and take off ski equipment without stepping off tile (as requested by the owner). The description also states there is a Deck/patio. I didn't see it. Once you pay your full fee, they send you a list of “rules”. No shoes, turn down heat, microwave use, disposal, toilet, sink care, etc. Some of them are unreasonable for a rental unit. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but not much good to say about this place.
Owner response:This cozy popular condo is one of the very few ski-in units at Copper Mtn. The burgundy door in the photo is your front door. It's not difficult to skate ski or walk up the small incline to ski to the lift. Or you can take the front sidewalk to Center Village. The views are beautiful mountains. Just not the ski mountain. If your goal is mountain ambiance not bustling throngs,... peaceful tranquil setting not a hotel-hallway/elevator type experience this is your kind or place. There's open space leading up to the mountain and ski trail so plenty of room to romp and play snowgames. The condo is carpeted except for the tiled kitchen, bath and entrance. The proximity of the hot tub is usually appreciated especially when you're finished on a frigid day and you're wet and tired. There are hot tub hrs and it's locked at night. We do provide many supplies, you'll receive a list when you place your on-line order. Please watch the Virtual Tour to help make up your mind. We hope you'll choose us.
