Property description

Our spacious 2600 square foot view home has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. Upstairs and downstairs sitting rooms have sweeping views of the lake. The home has a dry sauna in the downstairs bathroom and a hot tub on the lower deck. Upstairs sundeck has great views and is off the kitchen with gas barbeque. We added an extra driveway on the other side of the home last year which allows for extra parking. A boat should fit there perfectly. Our neighborhood has a 5 acre beachfront parcel with boat launch, swimming area and picnic tables. The cul de sac street ends at a trail entrance to Kalamoir Park. A great walking/hiking path along the lake. Small paths through the neighborhood make getting to the beach property easy. We have lived in this neighborhood for over 10 years and care very much about our neighbors comfort. We would want our guests to be respectful with noise levels. We hope you will be very comfortable here, and we look forward to sharing our home with you.

Year Purchased: 2003

About the owner: Though I grew up in BC, I married a man from California and we reside in Southern California most of the year. We have spent our summers in our Kelowna home for the past 10 years. With my family close by we have had many family dinners and get togethers here. Now that our 3 children are young adults (2 boys, 1 girl) My husband and I have wondered if we should keep our second home here in Kelowna. Coming up with the idea of making it into a vacation rental has given us a new adventure to embark on.

Why the Owner Chose West Kelowna:
While visiting my parents in the summer my husband & I fell in love with this neighborhood. We loved the Kalamoir Park trails and private boat & beach access. When two members of the same family buy in the same neighborhood you know it's got to be a great place!!

The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our home is close to the lake and has great views. Though it was built in 1978 we have taken on projects and worked hard to update it during the summers when were here. It has a large back yard and lots of room. It's close to Kelowna and West Kelowna which now has many stores to serve you.
