GREAT VIEW. RELAXING AREA.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We spent an entire week here and, between the house, the view, and the activities to do in the area, it was one of the best trips I have ever been on. It was close to the mountains and national parks, we went hiking, kayaking, and just enjoyed the VIEWS!!! Thank you for making this property available. The kitchen has a lot of good cookware and dishes. There is a grill on the side porch. It was just wonderful!!! I am recommending it to everyone who is planning a trip out that way.

We had the greatest time. Vancover Island - Hurricane Ridge - The Needle - Pike Place Market and most of all your beautiful home ! We did a lot of shopping and enjoyed buying food and preparing it here in your wonderful kitchen. Thank you for providing this little get-away for us. My wife took me away for my 50th birthday :-)). We left you a bar of our handmade soap and jam.

My husband and I stayed at your lovely home as part of our anniversary trip to WA. We were more than pleased with the accommodations and found the property nicely equipped. You've thought of everything. And the view? Amazing! Thank you so much!

Dear Sharon, Bev and I came to Poulsbo as a central point from which to scout for land. Our stay at your beautiful Edgewater Bluff Retreat was perfect. Saw the bald eagle, the submarine and your gorgeous grounds and of course dynamic views. We hope to duplicate a place so perfect and comfortable in the near future. Thanks so much !

We came from Wisconsin and Kansas to spend a week enjoying Washington's Kitsap Peninsula. We were wowed by the views from Huricane Ridge, impressed by Dungeness Spit and surprised by the fantastic foliage of the Bloedel Reserve on Bainbridge Island. The priceless part of the day, however, was found at Edgewater Bluff looking at the gardens, water, mountains and sky. Our visit was truly delightful !

The most peaceful place on the planet

This is a very special place. I have stayed here several times now and it continues to amaze me. The view of the Hood Canal and the Olympic Mountains is spectacular. When you sit on the deck and take in the view, all that you typically hear are the birds and the breeze. It is hypnotic - a natural tranquilizer that takes your mind to another, better place. The photos shown here are nice, but you have to be here to really appreciate it. Inside, the layout is optimized to take in the view with nice, large windows. The kitchen is top notch and well equipped. The property's landscaping is also pretty incredible. Everything that you need is right here. You can also walk down to the shore at low tide for some excellent seashell and sand dollar collecting. If you want a bit more excitement, take a 20 minute drive to the ferry (more incredible views!!) and visit downtown Seattle. I really love this place and I will be back soon.

Seattle Mariner Fans found peace & quiet with only a short ride to the Bainbridge Island Ferry!

We often come up to Bainbridge Island and stay in motels to take the ferry over to watch the Mariners at Safeco Field. This was a wonderful retreat for us to see more of NW Washington and still be close by for game day! The kitchen is top notch gourmet, the beds comfortable and the view is amazing. As I type this facing the back porch, the view is wonderful even on a cloudy NW day. At the very end of the road, it's private, peaceful and the only traffic is what we see on the water or flying from tree to tree. The pictures don't do it justice. You have to see it, walk the garden and enjoy the view for yourself! Contact Sabine, she is great to work with.

What a wonderful surprise ! When I booked this home online for my brother's wedding, I had no idea how beautiful it would be. I could sit on your deck forever, we did not want to leave ! Thank you - truly exceeding our expectations.

We had the opportunity to stay at the Edgewater property recently per a friend's recommendation. I grew up on the Olympic Peninsula, but it had been a while since I had come back for an extended visit. After staying here for a few days, I was wondering why I ever left! The view from the main part of the home - including the decks and garden - was amazing. We took our 3 year old daughter down to the private beach club where she was able to look for shells and explore tide pools - we had the whole section of beach to ourselves! The short 5 minute drive into the old-town of Poulsbo is definitely worth it. There is an incredible market and the shops and bakeries should be explored. I would also recommend the electric boat rentals on Liberty Bay if you have a chance. The home was equipped with everything we needed and more. We were able to BBQ one evening and enjoy the brilliant sunset from the deck. If you're looking for a getaway spot that is close enough to Seattle for day trips or you just want to relax for a few days - I highly recommend you consider this great getaway cottage. We will definitely be back soon.

In July 2003 we stayed at Sharon & Niyazi's lovely house with our two granddaughters, ages 16 and 14. It was perfect in every respect. The house and surroundings exude peace and serenity, and we found we could hardly tear ourselves away, even for day trips to nearby locations. In fact, we cancelled one day of planned sight seeing to remain at home relaxing, spending part of our time walking on the beach below collecting shells and just enjoying being in this beautiful setting. The view is spectacular both from inside the house and from the backyard where we often saw eagles flying by and ships passing. We are avid bird watchers so we were thrilled with the array of birdlife visiting their lovely flower garden. We used their home as a base for touring and easily visited the Olympic Peninsula, Seattle, and other nearby destinations on day trips. I can definitely vouch for the Central Market. Because all of us wanted to stay home every evening to have dinner in their backyard with its stunning view, we purchased food for all our meals from the vast array of delicious choices available at the Central Market. We look forward to returning in the future--staying there made for a great vacation, and our granddaughters loved our time there as much as we did.
