There is not enough room here to say all the great things I would like to say about our experience with this cabin and Judy who manages the cabin for her daughter. From the moment we drove up we felt welcomed! The cabin is truly beautiful and the pictures do not truly describe how beautiful this cabin is. The cabin was not only beautiful but it was clean and every detail had been thought of. We just put our luggage down and we were ready to relax! Also, to our surprise the cabin had been decorated for Christmas and a tree had been put up and there were holiday decorations throughout which made us very happy that we were able to get into the season while we were there. North Carolina is always an amazing place to visit and this time was no exception. We visited and hiked Chimney Rock which was nearby and also took a drive to Black Mountain and Hendersonville. We also hiked to Catawaba Falls which was a gorgeous hike (this was close to Black Mountain). Both Hendersonville and Black Mountain have wonderful shops and restaurants. Our family had a wonderful trip and we are extremely grateful for being allowed to share this wonderful cabin. I can't recommend this cabin enough! We have rented many cabins before and this has been the best. Our two dogs also enjoyed the porch where they were free to roam and enjoy the great weather. Thank you Judy - we will be back soon if you'll have us! With much appreciation to Judy for your attention and courtesy we remain with fond memories - , Grace, Richard & Ashley & Dogs

WOW the cabin was better than expected. I took the dogs for walks every day, played frisbee and relaxed on the awesome wrap around deck. My wife loved to relax and snuggle in the king sized bed. I was debateing between two cabins and glad I picked this one. Thanks

Our mountain vacation was incredible! This Carolina Country Cabin was perfect! From my first contact with Judy I knew that we were headed to a restful and magnificent mountain retreat. Judy was so helpful and informative from the very beginning. She went above and beyond to make sure all of our questions were answered and then contacted us the day after our arrival to make sure that everything was as it was supposed to be. My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our stay. We enjoyed the quiet surroundings on the front porch every morning with our dogs and the Lake Lure/Chimney Rock area offered leisure dining, sightseeing and relaxation beyond our expectations. The cabin had such a home-like atmosphere and was so tastefully decorated. I can't think of anything that would have made our stay here any more relaxing. Thank you so much for having us!

Wonderful Rental in Lake Lure

We rented this home the July 4th week and found it to be a great rental! The decor is Americana, so it was perfect for the holiday. The house is very clean and is more spacious than it appears in the photos. Everything we needed was readily available, and the linen supply was more than adequate. If you're a big reader, you may want to bring a book light as there isn't overhead lighting in the bedrooms. We drove to Saluda (about 40 min. south) to Green River Adventure Company to take the inflatable kayak float trip with Class I and Class II rapids. The guys at Green River are friendly and gave us a great trip down the river. However, the inflatable kayaks were not as easy to steer as I was lead to believe when I called to make the reservations. Overall, we had a very nice trip. It's probably best for families with teens or kids young enough to ride with an adult. The home's owners were very easy to work with and called upon our arrival and before our departure to make sure we didn't have questions or need anything. It was a very nice experience all the way around.

This cabin is the perfect setting for a family vacation in the mountains. The cabin is even nicer than the pictures reflect and has everything you'll need for your mountain/lake retreat. We enjoyed being able to vacation with our pets - they loved it every bit as much as we did. Judy is very sweet and super helpful. Mirror Lake and the nature trail are beautiful as is the magnificient Lake Lure. We enjoyed Chimney Rock, the lakes, and several local restaurants as well as a wonderful trip to Grandfather Mountain and Blowing Rock. Hope to return again soon - hated to say goodbye.

We recently finished a week stay here and it was a fantastic relaxing time for our family, including a toddler and a preschooler. The resort passes make it truly phenomenal, as did the super helpful and friendly property manager Judy. She really cares about you having a nice time. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed out stay....It was so wonderful. The cabin was beautiful. The owners/management was so helpful from the very beginning. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay in your cabin. The view was wonderful. We celebrated our 1st Anniversary and cant wait til next year to rent again. The cabin was well clean and maintained. Lots of nearby attractions and activities. So peaceful and quite. We saw some deer nearby the cabin and heared the crikets singing. We are planning on bringing the kids next summer. The kids room will be wonderful for them. There was everything in the cabin that we needed. Great!!! I would recommend this to all my friends and family. Can wait til next year. The Shirley's

Really enjoyed our stay, cabin was very nice, clean, well-equipped. Especially enjoyed the wrap around porch/deck! Owner was extremely helpful with details and directions. We enjoyed Chimney Rock, the village, and local restaurants. The highlight of the trip was the dinner cruise on the lake from Rumbling Bald Resort- highly recommend that! The appr. 45 min. drive to Ashville was very scenic also.

We enjoyed our stay in this property. Upon arrival, we found everything in order and exactly as depicted in the photographs. This home was clean and well equipped. The owners were very helpful with directions, arrival details, and information about the local area. During our visit we enjoyed hiking, kayaking, golf and several local restaurants. We felt renting this property was a good value and hope to return again in the future.
