  We had a magnificent time at Villa Hibiscus. Daniel and Annie were wonderful hosts. They made sure that we had everything we needed for a wonderful trip. The accommodations were perfect. Clean, relaxing, and delightful. We can't wait to go back.

  Bonjour à vous deux! Nous espèrons que tout baigne pour vous. Quelques semaines après notre retour à la maison, Marie-Luce et moi nous ennuyons considérablement de NOTRE petite villa et de votre accueil. Vous nous avez fait passer de bien agréables moments. Nous vous souhaitons une très, très belle nouvelle année, prospère et pleine de santé. Pour rigoler, voici quelques photos prise ce matin à la campagne, à 30 minutes de Montréal. Il fait –14C. Bonne fin d'hiver et au plaisir (nous le souhaitons) de retourner dans votre oasis. Marie-Luce et Bill

  Dear Mr. Daniel ! Dear Mrs. Anni!   Thank you for the nice welcome in your villahibiscus in august 2012.  The house and the garden with the pool was very beautiful. An bobby was a good guard. Now we are return in Austria and we must start working.  I am sorry, that I have not seen the “playa Rincon” but the Playa el Val  was a good alternative. We  hope the “Isaac“ is not dangerous for you.   Best regards Walter, Carmen an Theresa

  Wir waren zum zweiten Mal bei Annie und Daniel - das selbst erklärt, dass es uns sehr gefallen hat! Die Vermieter erlauben eine angenehme, familiäre Atmosphäre. Sie unerstützen bei Fragen, geben Tips für den Neuling und erlauben viel Ruhe und Erholung. Fragen Sie den Vermieter nach den besten Lokalen und Bars, bevor Sie selbst suchen (Luis, Paco Mer, Los Pinos, französisches Bistro und Cafe, ...) und den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zur Selbstversorgung (Plaza Taina, Lindo, Fisch direkt von den Fischern, ...). Das Anwesen besteht aus vier etwa gleichen Häusern um einen Pool herum, wobei der Vermieter eines davon selbst bewohnt. Jedes Haus erlaubt eine private Umgebung, da das Areal wunderschön eingwachsen ist (wie ein botanischer Garten!). Wir haben es jeden Tag genossen, auf der Terrasse zu sitzen, mit dem großen Tisch und der herrlichen Sitzecke für den Abend. Alles war sehr gepflegt und entspricht vollkommen dem, was man sich von der Beschreibung verspricht. Das Anwesen wird täglich von sehr freundlichen Experten bewacht, man lebt deshalb sehr sicher; wir hatten zu keinem Zeitpunkt das Gefühl von Unsicherheit. Der in etwa 100 Meter Entfernung befindliche Strand war im November fast menschenleer; Liegen sind am Eingang vorhanden - es ist Entspannung pur! Las Terrenas können Sie auch zu Fuß, auf der Zufahrt oder am Strand entlang bequem erreichen. Wir waren so begeistert, dass wir mit Sicherheit wiederkommen! Wir haben die Insel bereist, aber bei Daniel, Annie und Las Terrenas fühlen wir uns am Wohlsten. Keine Touristen-Hochburg, eher Individualisten suchen diesen Platz und wer viel Ruhe sucht, der kommt hierher und wird zufrieden sein.   Villa Hibiscus is one of the most gorgeous places in Las Terrenas...quaint little two-story cottages, gorgeous pool and above all the service! Daniel & Anne are two amazing people that own and operate this little 3-cottage spot that is optimally placed 50 meters from one the most beautiful beaches in the 'French' side of Las Terrenas. Within walking distance are bars, restaurants, clubs and the little town of Las Terrenas that offers an array of Dominican culture. Within a 20 minute walk is the 'Italian' side of Las Terrenas that offers a different feel in terms of restaurants, bars & beaches. If you want some serious fun times...rent a Quad (4-wheel off-road vehicle) or a scooter to get around. Daniel & Anne will provide you will all the information you will ever need to make your stay one that you'll never forget. They welcome you like you were long lost friends, and it's the little things that they think of even before you get there makes you feel like they've read your mind. Their knowledge of the area is by far the best and their recommendations in terms of beaches to visit (there are a lot of them), and restaurants is better than perfect. Will I ever come back here or recommend this place to anyone else? You betcha!!! If you're done with crowded Resorts that offer a bland, unrealistic experience of the Dominican and you want a different experience then Villa Hibiscus is your paradise. It's like a home away from home.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+.

  We had a really great time at this place. It is a very well maintained property with 3 nice caribbean villas to rent. It's just a few steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches and Annie et Daniel take care of your well and needs. We spent 10 days in Las Terrenas and unfortunately we had very loud spanish neighbors for the first few days but besides this everything was perfect. The villas are very well equipped and clean, the service was great and there are mosquito screens in every room. In the night the villas are guarded by a security guy but we felt safe anyway. If you want to get away from it all and just hit the beach then this is the place for you. Great place to relax.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, age 55+.

  Bonjour, Daniel et Annie - et Bobbie! Je tiens à vous remercier pour le merveilleux séjour à Las Terrenas et dans votre maison. La voiture a eu lieu à l'aéroport! Le vol a été un peu en retard - si vous regardez l'image ci-joint, vous saurez pourquoi! Ici, il est de -5 degrés et de la neige. J'ai attrapé un rhume. Nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps!
