Our Canadian property stretches between the Annapolis Basin and the Bay of Fundy.We have 300+ acres of woodland and shoreline for enjoyment. The Thorne's Cove shore is about 60 feet from the living room door. It has been our honor to play host to two honeymoons & one wedding.
There are many indoor and outdoor games available. A Ping-pong table can be set up in the two car detached garage. There is also horseshoes, badminton, board games,over 200 video movies and over 200 books. If you wish to leave the property there is golfing, boat rentals or fishing all within a 45 minute drive.
In the early 1950's our Father designed the house and our maternal Grandfather had it built in 1952. There are three bedrooms. Two bedrooms are on the first floor: one with a double bed. The other two bedrooms have two twin beds each. We have a very large living room (17'x27')and a proper country eat-in kitchen (14'x19'). All rooms are nicely furnished with period pieces. There are many hand made, hand died throw rugs. Your nearest neighbor won't know that you exist; peace, quiet and privacy could be yours be it for a
week or a month or longer.
There are numerous artisan and antique shops in the nearby town; North America's oldest European settlement, Annapolis Royal (c1604). Annapolis Royal is about a 15 minute drive from Karsdale. In the summer the town has a booming population of 1500 people.
