LARGE HOUSE WITH SWIMMING POOL ON THE HEIGHTS OF NOVES.
Situation - Surroundings:
Nice estate situated on the hillside of Noves, in the heart of Provence, 12 km from Avignon, 8 km from St. Remy de Provence. Direct flights from Southampton or Exeter to Avignon (by flybe).
The house looks down upon the valley of the River Durance. The charming "chemin des crêtes" under the shade pines leads to the house from where you can admire the view of Ventoux Mountain, the Alpilles, and the Luberon. The house surrounded by a park of 5000m2, with oaks and pines, is located in a residential and quiet district:the "Rougadou."
Description of the Estate:
The land is fenced. The gates open on a flagged path leading to the house. Beautiful cut-stone façade. The access to the swimming-pool is given through the large bay-windows of the lounge, the dining-room, or the kitchen.
A large terrasse surrounds the villa and the swimming-pool (200m2). The size of the swimming-pool is 12 meters on six meters; its depth grows from one to three meter. The pool is entirely tiled and equpped with stairs and inside lighting which permits to enjoy a bath late at night.
A porch roof of 90m2 gives shade to the summer dining-room,the deck-chairs, the barbecue, and the ping-pong table. The terrasse looks down on a lawn of about 1000m2 (where the children can play). Two large garages and a laundry with a refrigerator, a deep freeze, and a washing machine.

A large kitchen opens on the dining-room and on the terrasse and the swimming-pool. The kitchen is well equipped: a tiled worktop, a hotplate, a grill, an American refrigerator, a large sink, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, and an electric oven. The small household appliances are at the tenant, disposal too: a toaster, a coffee machine, and a mixer. The granite table and the antique dresser make the dining area very pleasant.
Upstairs:
From the hall a stone staircase leads to the first floor to a mezzanine with an additional bed. The hall opens on to large bedrooms. One room looks down upon the swimming-pool and a general view on the villa, there is a bathroom with bath, shower, and toilets. The two windows of the second bedroom open on two different directions: the room is sunny in the morning and the afternoon - the furniture is more exotic there, is a nice antique cupboard.
