Be swept back in time, as you arrive at charming Starfish Cottage on Plymouth Harbor. This air conditioned retreat, started life as a 19th Century Barn and still boasts of original beams, floors, and doors. It is nestled among historic homes on Route 3A across from the Ocean and lighthouses on the Harbor.

Upstairs are two large bedrooms. The Master Bedroom has a view of the Ocean and they both have vaulted ceilings, skylights, and comfortable furnishings. This Family-Friendly Cottage comes with a large dining room, a stocked game-play area, and living room with gas fireplace. The nice yard offers a grill, plus a beautiful landscaped yard. The Cottage is professionally cleaned between each guest.

The cottage is two miles from the center of Plymouth and all Historic sites and four-tenths of a mile from Long Beach. Shopping outlets are five miles away over the Cape Cod Sagamore Bridge. 35 minutes from Boston. Easy on and off highways. Charge cards accepted.

  • Handicapped Accessible (may have limitations): Walk in shower, pull out queen size bed on 1st floor. Not suitable for wheelchair but helpful for those with some mobility challenges.

  • As a family we use a lot of self-catering accommodation and have travelled quite a bit. We all agree this is the best place we have stayed. Starfish Cottage oozes character and is exactly the sort of place you would want to stay if visiting Plymouth. Ingrid was welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Very generous with her time and advice when called upon. The cottage is perfectly furnished and decorated for its style and we could have spent the entire week just reading and investigating its books, pictures etc. Plenty of tourist info for the immediate area and further afield and games and outdoor equipment for the children which they enjoyed, especially having use of the large lawn. June and Ben are coeliacs and there is a very good health shop 5 minutes drive away for all the basic gluten-free foods and some treats as well. It is also handy to the nearest beach and a convenience store. If we ever go back to this area we would not hesitate in having another stay in Starfish Cottage.

  • Our family came to Plymouth to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. The cottage was a wonderful place to celebrate. Every amenity you can think of is here in the cottage. The children had many games to play with and they also enjoyed all the video tapes. I loved that the kitchen was fully stocked with cooking supplies. The bathroom had plenty of towels and "just in case I didn't pack it" items. This was our best vacation ever and I have to say that Ingrid helped make it all possible. The cottage is so beautiful and comfortable. You WILL NOT want to leave. But we will always have our wonderful memories of "our cottge". Ingid, thank you for a wonderful vacation, keep up the great work and we'll be seeing you soon!!!!

  • Starfish Cottage is a wonderful, relaxing place to spend a stress-free vacation. The kids loved the games and movies plus the wonderful breakfast treats. Our oldest son loved the "secret window" in the kid's room. We loved the tranquil surroundings, the cushy beds, and the exceptional hospitality. Ingrid is such a wonderful hostess and made us feel right at home. We cannot wait until we get to visit her and Starfish cottage again. Thanks for the great vacation, Ingrid.   • My family and I just spent 7 days at Star Fish Cottage and we all agree that it should be called "Enchanted Cottage." The minute we walked through the door we felt it's old world charm envelope us and make us feel as if we were home.With every second spent in the cottage we could feel our tension and stress disappear as we explored one enchanting room after another. Ingrid and Steve made us feel like family and they truly represented the old world charm of hospitality to the highest degree. The beaches were pristine, the Plymouth shops had quaint items and the restaurants were a delight to the palate. On nights that we wanted to "cook at home" the cottage had a great array of cooking utensils and a wonderful grill. We have rented many places in 27 yrs and this is the first time we actually had lumps in our throats when we had to leave. The memories we made here will get us through the tough winter months and beyond. We will definitly see "Our Cottage" again next year and for many more years to come. We were so lucky to find this absolute gem in Plymouth.
