This 4-bedroom ocean view house is now available for rental. The house has undergone an extensive remodel for the comfort of our guests. Included in the remodel:

The house has 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Downstairs are two bedrooms (one with a Queen bed, the other with 3 twin beds), a full bathroom and the laundry room. A spiral staircase takes you upstairs to the main living area, two bedrooms (one with a Queen bed, the other has a King bed) and a full bathroom. The living room, dining room and kitchen are open plan with a high ceiling, with huge windows providing a view of the ocean. Open the French doors and step onto the wide, wrap-around deck and listen to the waves crashing onto the shore.
The house has new, modern appliances and DSL Internet access (wireless 802.11b/g and wired Ethernet).
The house is located in Aptos, just south of Capitola and north of Rio Del Mar. Santa Cruz and Monterey are a short drive away. The house is a stone's throw to the sea, but is on a bluff. You can walk to the beach in less than 10 minutes. We are near Seacliff beach, which is a wide, sandy beach and pet friendly.
There is parking for 5 cars in the driveway, and parking for an additional car on the street.

Why the Owner Chose Aptos
This is a beatiful area with wonderful beaches and friendly people. There are lots of activities of all sorts nearby, including Monterey bay and Capitola, 2 of my favorite places.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Great sunsets from the deck, especially during the winter. Love to wine taste - available in Capitola, the Santa Cruz Mountains, Monterey Bay and Carmel Valley.

I am a computer software project manager at Hewlett-Packard. I bought this home because I love the Aptos/Santa Cruz area and want to retire there some day. Seacliff beach is one of the longest, cleanest beaches around and I love to take my dog for long walks. I have a Rat Terrier named Max. He loves the upper deck on the house, since he can watch people and thier pets walk by.
I like to cook, and you will find the house well supplied for cooking. I also like to travel and camp. My favorite travel locations are in Europe (love the cobblestone streets). My favorite camping location is the Giant redwoods in Northern California.
