Less than a one and a half hour drive from Downtown Chicago, this vacation home is situated in the beach community of Michiana Shores, Indiana. Intersecting Lake Michigan and Michigan State Line, Michiana Shores is an idyllic wooded community located in the southern basin of Lake Michigan.
Serene woodlands compliment miles of secluded beaches perfect for walking and hiking. A children's park and full-size tennis court is across your front yard, you can watch your children safely play while sitting on the front deck. The rear deck looks out into one acre of Virgin Michiana Forest, which is home to deer and unlimited bird species.
The towns of Michigan City, Indiana and New Buffalo, Michigan are less than five miles in either direction and provide unlimited shopping, restaurants, and other small town amenities. Fruit and apple farms are a short country drive away where hayrides and "pick-your-own" excursions are available.
This fully furnished cottage only requires you to bring food to cook in the full-size kitchen. Everything else is provided so you only need to bring your toothbrush! Pets are NOT allowed, No Smoking.
This is a one bedroom home with a separate den. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom and a double size pull-out couch in the den, which can accommodate one and possibly two children. This is the perfect home for a couple who may want to have an occasional overnight guest or will have one child staying with them.
