  I stayed here in August 2010 with my wife and 2 children (ages 10 and 6). The apartment was fabulous; a wonderful retreat at the end of tiring days touring the Cannes, Antibes, Monaco and Nice areas, which were all within reach by car. We also managed the village of Gourdon and even a summer visit to the ski resort at Isola 2000 from this apartment. I would have been happy, however, spending lazy days in such a relaxing location with fabulous views from the huge balcony. A car is necessary (as advertised). It was a beautiful drive down the hill at the beginning of the day and just as pleasant to drive back to this apartment at the end. A truly wonderful area of the world to visit and explore and this was all the better for the fantastic accommodation and service provided. Many thanks.

  We stayed at Norma's wonderful apartment in May during the Cannes film festival. I cannot praise the apartment highly enough. It is extremely spacious, with a fantastic balcony which has a view to die for. The photos probably don't do justice to the apartment. There are 3 very spacious bedrooms, which are all en-suite, and the living and dining room are very well furnished. The location is up in the hills and you do need a car, but it is well worth it for the stunning view and peaceful setting. The location is also well situated for visiting cannes, antibes, monaco, st tropez and the rest. This is simply a beautiful and glamorous part of the world, which should not be missed. I would recommend anyone to stay at this beautiful apartment, and I would also like to place on record my thanks to Norma and Amelie for all their help and excellent arrangements.

  We stayed here during Christmas & New Year 2009/2010 and I must say we were 'over-the-moon' with the location and service we received. The apartment is part of a high quality gated community at the the top of a hill around 2-3km from the centre of Mandelieu. This high location gives great views over the bay and access to some stunning walks. The apartment is appointed with fittings to the highest quality and you feel like you have joined the 'Jet Set'! Norma made the whole booking process painless and her local contacts were great. Although we were in Mandelieu 'out of season', there is loads to do and Cannes is only a short drive away. Mandelieu is a great little location to explore the Cote D'Azur and Provence countryside. We hope to visit this area again in Spring or Autumn some time when we can really appreciate the Mild climate of the Cote D'Azur - we will definitely use Norma's apartment as our base.

  Our second trip to this area and to this particular apartment. Fabulous views, fabulous weather, very clean and well furnished apartment. We particularly liked the three bedrooms (and three bathrooms!) as not many properties have so many bathrooms. In a quiet area, although we had a car and were able to get to many places - Cannes, Nice, Antibes (and Monaco by train for only £12 return!) All in all - great apartment and great area.

  We holiday in Cannes usually twice in a year and have always stayed in a luxury villa or Hotel. This was the first time at an apartment and it was excellent. The apartment itself and 2 balcony areas are large . There were 4 of us there and we could get lost in it!! The standard of apartment both in quality of furnishings and decor were excellent. It was very clean and the bed linen was also of good quality compared to some others we have been to. The apartment is exactly as seen in the photographs. The views were stunning. The apartment is very bright and roomy and the fact we had secure private parking and entrance to the property added to the overall quality of holiday. We felt very safe at all times. On arrival we were met by a very nice and helpful gentleman who advised us of anything we needed to know. We always hire a car anyway as we like to visit Monte carlo often and it is easy to commute along the coastline from this base, but would say you definitely need a car to get about as it is a reasonable distance (uphill) from the town of mandelieu and shops etc. We didnt mind this as we prefer to be away from the biz and noise of the big resort areas . it was just magical sitting on the balcony overlooking the Bay of Cannes We hope to return to the apartment next year and would definitely recommend it to a friend or relative however the only point I would make, if you are considering going, is that it is not really suitable for younger children, however an excellent choice if there are one or two couples

  We loved this apartment for our summer family holiday. It is very spacious, with all the amenities of home. The balcony has a beautiful view, and is wonderful to sit out for breakfast, lunch and dinner! The owner is VERY accommodating and has done a lovely job making the apartment comfortable and clean. We loved the serene location, yet close enough to Cannes for the beaches, and town centre for groceries and other needs. We would highly recommend this holiday apartment

  The appartment is spacious with a well-designed, modern layout, a vast terrace or balcony and an open view over the countryside. it was well furnished and clean, and the owner and her local assistant were friendly and well organized.

  If you need to recharge your batteries then sitting on the balcony looking out over the Cote d'Azur with a cold drink in hand is a great way to start. This apartment is as described on the website, in fact it is even larger and more comfortable than we had imagined. As it will be one of our last family holidays we chose Norma's apartment because of the 3 ensuites, to ensure we would all be ready for our days out at the same time ,and because of its situation near to Cannes, Nice etc.(3 daughters, early 20's!) The apartment had a family size fridge and freezer which meant we didn't have to shop each day although the hypermarche, 5 mins drive away ,was a pleasure to shop in. We took the train to Monte Carlo having parked at the station in Nice, a cheap and easy way to travel and had we been staying more than a week ,would have used the train again. The booking and meet and greet arrangements were easy and accomodating, as we found when our flight times were changed. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our time in this lovely apartment and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

  Modern, clean and very comfortable apartment on top of the hill. Great facilities (well equipped kitchen, 3 en-suite) and fantastic spacious terrace with sea views (great for al fresco breakfasts/dinners/evening drinks). The only slight downside is lack of shopping facilities within the Grand Duc complex (10+ mins for a round trip by car to the nearest bakery in Mandelieu) but it's a small price to pay for peace, comfort and fab views. Mandelieu itself is a great base for sightseeing (Grasse, Mougines, Cannes, Nice, Monte Carlo - all within 1 hr drive max). There are fabulous sandy beaches nearby. Parking in town/by the beach was manageable, even though the Cannes Film Festival was in full swing. It is also worth going inland to Mougines (lots of galleries and lovely restaurants) and take the coastal road to Monte Carlo (although next time round I would avoid Grand Prix as it was packed with people, views were obscured and certain locations only accessible if you had the GP tickets ). All in all we had a really lovely holiday in Mandelieu. Booking / communications / meet-and-greet arrangements were all pleasant and stress free. I would most definitely recommend the apartment and would definitely stay there again.
