In summer, hop on the gondola as it silently glides above tall stands of pine and affords spectacular mountain views as it ascends to the summit of Ajax Mountain at 11,212 feet. The views from up top are stunning, especially during late July when the optic-amazing wildflowers bloom. Pack accordingly because the summit temperature will be cool! Access world-class ski mountains - Buttermilk, Aspen Highlands, and Snowmass - from the free shuttle that stops one-half block away.

Inside, we are confident you will appreciate the total renovation completed a couple of years ago. Over 1250 square feet, the high ceilings, marble and granite throughout, cherry cabinetry, jacuzzi tub, and the fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom will pamper you in luxury and comfort.

After taking in the spectacular scenery over your morning coffee, do not forget to enjoy the many amenities and luxuries provided by this wonderful mountain escape. Mountain/Road biking, hiking, rafting, golfing, fishing, and camping (of course, skiing) are a just few of the activities you can enjoy by day before taking a swim and hot tub and strolling less than two blocks to the heart of Aspen for its many fine restaurants, bars, and other cultural events.   • We stayed in the condominium the weekend of September 22, 2007. You can't beat the location, and we had a fabulous stay. Although the weather was beautiful, we sat by the fire and enjoyed the very comfortable couch and chairs. The Rusineks were great hosts -we appreciated the extensive book collection and games. Most importantly, Michael went out of his way to have the pool and hot tub opened up for us because we were so sore after running the Aspen Falling Leaf Half Marathon (what a killer that was!). Thanks for sharing!

  • My family and I stayed Jan.2nd through the 6th and we had a fantastic time. The condo was clean, updated, spacious and very comfortable. The owners go out of their way to give information about the condo and operation of everything in the condo like the TV, washer/dryer, heat, fireplace etc. Parking is convenient. We would definately stay again.

  • We stayed in Sept 05 and the leaves were just beautiful. This condo was the perfect home away from home. The location couldn't be any better, walking distance to downtown Aspen and close to the other resort areas. We can't wait to stay during ski season, since the gondola and lift is right around the corner. The owners are great and very attentive to their guests. We can't wait to come back!

  • We stayed in this condo over Labor Day weekend 2005 and it was wonderful! When we arrived, the condo was clean and beautifully decorated and the accomodations worked great for our families! The owners put together a book with recommendations for where to eat, hike, etc. which is great if you're new to Aspen. The owners were quick on communication and made sure our stay there was exactly what we expected. We've now found the place where we'll stay everytime we come back to Aspen! Thanks so much!

The location is fabulous, very near the base of Ajax mountain and easy walking distance to the delights of Aspen's culture, dining, shopping and charm.
