This was my fourth stay in this wonderful villa. If anything it is better than ever before with wireless wifi, flat screen tvs and new furnishings. The swimming pool was fantastically warm and in the sun all day. The villa itself is super comfortable and spotlessly clean. We stayed at this villa in Naples for a week and had a fabulous time. The place is equipped with everything you need - great kitchen and dining area, dish washer, washing machine & dryer, double garage, 3 bathrooms, not to mention the wonderful pool and patio area. There are two main bedrooms and two twin rooms, so it could comfortably house two families of four. We were four adults with two toddlers so we had more than enough room. There is a nice big living area with flat screen TV. In the garage we found plenty of beach equipment which we made good use of on several of Naples's exceptional beaches. Towels were also in plentiful supply. The villa is located in one of Naples's many gated communities and was pretty central for everything we wanted to see and do in the area - Naples downtown, shopping centres, beaches, golf, etc. The booking process with owner Ian was easy and friendly. We have no heistation in recommending this holiday villa to anybody who wants a great stay in South West Florida. We certainly hope to go back.Did you find this review helpful? I stayed in this villa for the first time in September 2011. The location was fantastic, with a beautiful view from the pool (which had sun all day long). It was very peaceful, and we enjoyed our time sunbathing on the patio. However, the cleanliness aspect was far from what I am accustomed to. We found cobwebs on the light fitting, damp on the bathroom wall, green slime all over the plastic patio furniture and the BBQ (which we had to pay extra for) was all rusty and out of gas and we could not use it. I love Naples and would certainly go back there - even go back to the Briarwood complex - but I would not stay in this villa again !Owner response: This was one of the few problem renters that we have ever had. Despite staying for two weeks she never once contacted us with any problems. Nor did she make any complaint to our on-site agent who came to the house on her 2nd day to ensure everything was in order. Yet when she gets home she starts complaining and demanding the full rental be refunded. As you can see we have many satisfied renters who have rated the house very highly, particularly in relation to cleanliness.

This villa was as near perfect as they come! Well situated, spacious, beautifully furnished (especially loved the modern art!), extremely well equipped and, best of all (in my opinion!), comfortable beds! My family and I spent a blissful week here after 2 hectic weeks in Orlando. The villa had plenty of deck furniture and a very well equipped kitchen (important when there are 7 people!); the view overlooking the lake was picture-postcard, there were plenty of shopping opportunities within easy reach (try the Coastland Centre 5 mins away, or the outlet centre at Corkscrew Road just 20 mins north on I75). The beautiful beach is only 10-15 mins away and the sunsets viewed from the pier are second to none! There are some lovely shops in the town centre in which to browse (not all as expensive as you might have thought) and plenty of places to eat to suit all tastes and budgets - we particularly favour Outback Steakhouse and The Cheesecake Factory. The Management Company, should you have occasion to contact them, are extremely efficient and courteous, and all the arrangements made directly with Ian were very straightforward and worked very smoothly. This villa will definitely be on my very short list of properties to which I would certainly return!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

The trip for us was mainly about watching wildlife, and it was amazing how much we managed to see around the villa itself - otters, turtles, and a wide variety of birds. And the location is perfect for getting easy access to some superb wildlife sites - Corkscrew swamp, Sanibel Island, and of course the Everglades. Not that we didn't appreciate the luxury of the villa - super bedrooms, kitchen, etc, plus the pool and deck area. All well maintained by German Services - clean and well-equipped with everything from cool boxes to body boards! . Naples is a fantastic area for shopping and eating, and the pier is wonderful.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We have just spent three weeks in this lovely villa (on our honeymoon)! and had such an enjoyable stay. The villa met all our needs and was superb. Lovely views over the lake, relaxing pool and HUGE bedroom with great bathroom. We would recommend staying in this villa if you are looking for a romantic getaway - Naples is the perfect 'base' if you wish to discover the sights and attractions of Southwest Florida (or even Miami) :o) We will certainly look to rent this villa again when we are back in Naples (hopefully in the very near future)! We stayed at the villa two times in November 2009 and 2010 having stayed in Briarwood previously. The villa is superb and offered a home-away-from-home. The villa lived up to all of our expectations – nicely furnished, and very bright and airy and very large. We travelled with 7 people and there was really enough space for everyone. We went almost every morning for a long walk and most afternoons we just relaxed on large sundeck reading and enjoying the peace and quiet. The pool is wonderful and the oversized sundeck allowed us to fully appreciate the lovely lake view and glorious sunsets, usually whilst barbecuing! The Briarwood Community is a safe place and wonderfully quiet and near to everything like the beach,downtown Old Naples and shopping (Coastland Shopping Centre, Waterside shops). A car is important so you can make the best of what Naples and the surrounding area has to offer. Naples is a very nice place and the beach is just perfect. The owner Ian is making booking arrangements simple without any trouble. We will return this November.Recommended for: Age 55+

We are renting this villa since couple years (once a year) and it is every time perfect. Everything is very clean and nice and a lot of space. The communication and respond time with Ian is great - no problems at all. This villa is a great deal and absolutely reliable landlord. I've just returned from my third stay in this fabulous villa. I am a sun junky and I have never stayed in a villa where the pool area is in the sun for so much of the day. The house itself was immaculate and beautifully airconditioned for the few minutes I wasn't either by or in the pool. Naples itself is fantastic with brilliant beaches and restaurants. Tommy Bahamas is my favourite.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Naples itself was lovely and all the ameneties were at the villa we needed including cool box, etc. The down side was the villa had not been cleaned to the standard we were used to after previous trips to Florida- dirty sinks, toothpaste in master bedroom, dead spider behind toilet door and unswept kitchen floors , not a good start. The only other down side we didn't plan for was the registering we had to do with the property rental company- that meant losing an hour or two to fit in with their office hours on the Monday of our first week as they do not open on the change over day.This is something we've never had to previously do in Florida before. The site security people were levely and a great help to orientate yourself round Naples. Must do the Naples beaches just to see the Pier complete with Dolphins. We would definately revisit the area. Visit the Tommy Bahamas restaurant for a special occasion, expensive but worth it with atmosphere and live entertainment. MUST do a boat hire to Marco island- gorgeous and unspoilt.Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you for your feedback. We are distressed that you were dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the villa and in light of your comments have replaced our cleaning company. We ask our clients to register with our agents so that they do not have to provide a damage deposit to us. If people do not want to register then we are happy to take a deposit instead. With respect to check-in, we allow our clients to arrive at any time of day or night and are completely flexible regarding change over day. When, as in this case, clients arrive on a Saturday night it would be unusual for an agent's office to be open and therefore they need to call in during office hours. The office is only 2 minutes away and in five years of renting this is the first time anybody has even commented on the process.

It is in a very good location, with good access to all local amenities. The villa is a very good size with very-well equipped kitchen and a fantastic master suite. The pool is wonderful and the oversized lanai allowed us to fully appreciate the lovely lake and glorious sunsets, usually whilst barbecuing! The owner was extremely kind in organising for us to be able to remain in the villa for 2 weeks longer than originally planned, due to the disruption caused by the Icelandic volcanoe, which, with 2 children, was hugely appreciated,Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Now we are back from 10 days in a very big and wonderful house. We traveled with 4 adults and two small children and had more space than we needed... We had a lot of fun with pool and all the stuff it is around in the house. You will find everything you will nedd during your vacation.. We would like to recommend Delnor Beach. Clear water and clean beach with a really big chance to see sting rays and dolphins in real nature. One day see saw them many times... fanatstic. For dining you should visit Pinchers Crab Shack at the 5th and shopping in the miramar outlets there you will find everything ;-) Thank you to all recent vistitors in this house for all the toys and stuff there. We loved to come back and will stay longer ;-)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Recently returned from our 3rd stay in this lovely house. We just love the large pool deck and lake views. To be able to watch the both the sunrise and the sunset from the deck is just perfect as is the variety of birds around the lake. We have also been lucky enough to see turtles and otters. The house is well equipped and well situated and we can thoroughly recommend it to those looking for a relaxing stay with excellent beaches, shopping and sights close to hand.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Our first visit to Naples usually stay in North Florida, the villa has plenty of room, clean and all ready for your arrival set in a quite residential area within easy reach of beaches, restaurants and activities for all of the family. Party of 5 adults enjoyed Airboat ride in the Everglades, Deep Sea Fishing, Kayaking on the Gordon River, Wildlife on lake and at The Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary and lots of places to shop. We like to see Florida in its full glory rather than Orlando, we saw Dolphins by the Pier in Naples, Osprey, Bald Eagles, Turtles, Armadillo, Bobcat, and an Otter all locally without going to the Zoo. We have already recommended this property to a friend who has not been to Florida before, and would certainly consider this villa when returning to Florida.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

I have just returned from a fantastic week in Naples in this property, what can I say. It exceeded all expectations, it has everything you need from beach towels, sunshades to igloo cool boxes and even as far as floats for the pool. A very well situated property only 10 mins from some great restaurants: Outback (steak lovers), Watermark Grill (best food we had) and the Silver spoon at the waterfront shopping plaza. If you want shops you have a fantastic selection ranging from the Mall to the waterfront Plaza and the Village every thing from Cartier and Tiffany’s to TK-max. A great place to visit and a fantastic property while you stay.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

I have stayed in some great villas in my time but this was the best. The most amazing thing was the swimming pool and pool decking. The pool area was in the sun from early morning until sunset. The pool decking was described as "over sized". This was certainly true. Rather than having to squeeze in around the pool there was massive of room for all eight of us to lie in comfort. Inside the house was tastefully decorated and they had everything, even beach towels. Naples is a great place with fabulous beaches, shops and restaurants all easily accessible from the villa.
