An ideal vacation choice, this extraordinary ocean front resort, where golf carts are the favorite mode of transportation and deer roam freely, is the perfect place to unwind and rejuvenate, blending fun with relaxation.

Conveniently located about a minute from the beach and within minutes of all resort activities by golf cart, the Dream Chaser is fully-equipped to assure you a fun-filled, comfortable, and restful stay. You will enjoy the roomy interior of this vacation home that provides bedroom privacy and plenty of space for social interaction.

On the main level a big master bedroom with king-size bed opens to a sundeck and enjoys a luxurious marble soaking tub/separate shower bath. There is also a twin bedroom & a queen bedroom opening to another deck. Upstairs, a huge room with two double beds, its own full bath and its own HVAC gives the privacy of a separate apartment.

The big Great Room has a game table so you can return to continue a challenging match or jigsaw puzzle. Seated dining for 20 is possible if you use all the tables. Cooking is a pleasure in this well stocked island kitchen with pantry. A big walk-in laundry is tucked-away on the main level.

As your relax on the big deck and large screen porch with table and chairs, you will enjoy watching gorgeous sunrises and sunsets over Lake Heron. You may also see deer wandering in the park-like yard, and herons, egrets, and pelicans fishing or sunning in the lake. Nestled among palms and live oaks the Dream Chaser invites its guests to leave traffic and pressures behind as they enjoy multiple activities available at Fripp.

There is plenty to do for every age. Whatever your mood: casual or elegant dining, a swim in the Atlantic or one of the five pools, playing golf or tennis or shuffleboard, biking, boating, fishing, or sightseeing... It is all here... waiting for you!

Fripp Islands scenic nature trails and three and a half miles of unspoiled beach are enhanced by the multiple Resort amenities. AN AMENITY CARD IS REQUIRED FOR EACH GUEST OVER THE AGE OF 12 TO ACCESS RESORT FACILITIES. The Dream Chaser PROVIDES AMENITY CARDS FREE OF CHARGE FOR OUR GUESTS.

  • This was the eighteenth trip to Fripp for our family and the third year in a roll that we have choosen the Dreamchaser for our island get-away. It is such a fabulous place! The home is well maintained, very comfortable and well stocked with towels, chairs, beach toys, etc. We vacation with our extended family so we greatly appreciate the dining room table for ten, (and the smaller one for overflow), the screened in porch, and the large living room that provides plenty of space for great communication. The beds are very comfortable and the air conditioning works great! The extra frig downstairs allowed us to spend time on the beach rather than headed to Beauford to the store. The two carts and the cards are just a great deal. Fripp has become a week of reconnection for our family and we think the Dreamchaser is the perfect place for that. The many extras provided and the graciousness of the renters make this house seem more like the home of a friend. We highly recommend this home - just don't take our week.

  • 4/26/06 Our family spent a week at the Dream Chaser with another family. Four adults, two 16 year old girls, three boys 12, 11 and 7. What a great vacation. Fripp Island was wonderful. The Dream Chaser was a terrific place to stay. The house had all that we needed. More than enough room for all of us. The screened in porch was key. We saw the alligator in the lake and the deer visited us several times a day. Our weather was nice with the exception of one day. The golf carts were a great bonus. They were a fun way to get around as well as explore the island. We shopped at Publix on the way in and never needed to go back to the store. The only thing that some may consider to be a downfall is that Easter week is not considered "in season" so all the restaurants and activities are not open regular hours. For us this didn't matter because we ate in. The guys and boys played golf twice and had an awesome time. Thank you for renting your house to us. We plan on returning next year.

  • 9/2 The Dream Chaser was the perfect reunion spot for our entire clan. We had a ball in this beautiful house and felt perfectly at home with all of the amenities. The kids loved all of the space to play and the selection of movies to choose from. The adults- we were like kids too and were able to fully relax. The only regret we had was that we had to leave, but we hope to return to Fripp Island and to the Dream Chaser soon. Thanks for making our trip the perfect weekend getaway. Anything we could want or need was made available- you thought of everything! – even providing the golf cart and transportation. The Dream Chaser will be remembered by the whole family as the spot our entire sibling family reunited after 4 long years. Thank you.   • 9/24 What a fabulous house! We enjoyed EVERYTHING. It was a perfect place for all of us to spread out and do whatever we enjoyed. Fishing, the beach, pools, golf cart rides, movies, puzzles, grilling and resting, relaxing and taking it easy. Thank you so much! This house has absolutely every comfort of home and is beautiful! We even played poker one night. We loved the deer and saw the “gator’ twice. We’d love to come back to the beautiful Dream Chaser and will look forward to it!   • The home was wonderful during our stay on the island. It was a good location on the island and had a very nice lakeview. The golf carts that were included made life easy for us. Finally, the owners were great and very accomodating to work with.
