We stayed in this gorgeous cabin for 3 nights. It was our family of 4, and another family of 4. The location and view were WONDERFUL!!! The cabin was completely updated and modern, with a lovely kitchen with modern appliances, computer with internet access, Playstation (but no games - bring your own!), and modern baths. It was very clean and well-maintained, and the proximity to Gatlinburg, Smokey Mountain park, and Pigeon Forge was perfect. It was exactly what we expected from the HomeAway site pictures and description. The owner was helpful and professional, and answered our calls promptly when we had a couple of questions. The only downsides were: The air conditioner was off when we checked in, and it took quite a long while to cool off - the temps outside were in the high 90's - but once the air kicked in it was very comfortable! No cell phone service - or very limited depending on your service provider. Sprint was NO service, Verizon seemed to have good service. Overall, we would recommend this cabin, and we would stay there again if we return to the G-burg area.

I took 3 of my grandchildren to this cabin for a short vacation. We had a wonderful time, The listing description did not do it justice. It was very tastefully decorated and very comfortable to be in. Very well maintained. The kitchen had everything you could ask for to prepare a good meal. I took the kids to the park which was only a short drive from the cabin so they could swim in the river. They had such a good time. We went into town one day and walked around all the shops and stopped at a restaurant to have dinner. When we drove back up to the cabin, it was like we were in another world, so peaceful and relaxing. The kids got in to the hot tub and I sat on the deck with them. What an awesome view of the mountains. It truly was a wonderful 3 days. I definitely will go back again. The owner was very helpful with directions and the names of good restaurants to go to. I have already recommended this to some friends of mine that plan to go to Gatlinburg in the near future.

What a fantastic weekend and awesome cabin to stay at! Four women needing a break had the best time at this cabin. It was even better then we expected - the pictures definitely do not do it justice. It had absolutely everything that we needed and more. We loved shopping and hiking during the day and then coming home to this peaceful cabin and enjoying the hot tub. This was our first time renting through VRBO and the owners could not have been more helpful. We will definitely be back next year for our annual trip! Thanks so much for sharing it with us.

We took our three kids to the mountains and stayed in this chalet. We just loved it! It is clean, well cared for and exactly what the photos show. It is a great location and easy to get to. The location is great for hiking or just kicking back and relaxing in the hot tub! The view is beautiful! The owner was very pleasant and helpful in recommending places to go that my kids would enjoy. I would definatly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a great mountain getaway!

Must make a return visit. A great time was had by all. Accommodations were right-on and the setting was beautiful. Easy access to all that Gatlinburg has to offer was a big plus also. Plenty of fun things for the whole family to enjoy . Looking forward to our next stay. Joan

Our stay here at the Chalet was wonderful. One could not ask for a better location. The cabin was literally minutes away from the shops and activities that Gatlinburg have to offer and yet it was tucked away up a mountain road which gave a feel of being away from it all. The evenings were quiet and peaceful. The cabin was spacious, clean, well maintained and beautiful. The listing information, pictures and location was very accurate. My wife and two children of 7 and 13 years of age loved it. We plan on coming back next time. We would recommend this place for families and just couples alike. The pool table and playstation was fun and came in handy. The kitchen was spaciuos and had all necessary utensils to create a great meal. The beds were very comfortable. As for the transaction in reserving and paying for the unit...that was a breeze. It was very easy checking in and out without a hitch.

My family and I have been to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge for the past three years. This was by far the worst experience out of all three years. They fail to mention how very steep and dangerous the roads to get to the cabin are, and how extremey steep the drive way is. We drive an SUV and it couldn't even make it up the drive way. We wrecked bakwards down their driveway, and down into the trees the first night that we were there (with our 20 month old in the car). I called to notify the owner that our car was totaled and we were in a very serious accident on the way to her cabin. She did not seem concerned at all, was not helpful in helping us find a rental car, and did not even call to check and make sure everything was ok for the next four days that we were there. She told me to use the internet to find a car rental place, which I tried but the computer does not work. It is not a lap top like stated in the description. There also is no play station like stated. Our last night we were there, we noticed the hot tub was light green. We assumed that it was due for some chemicals, and that it was algae. The owner called us the night that we got home and accused us of pouring anti-freeze in her hot tub! It was obvious that we did not mis-treat the cabin, and we left it clean. I would not reccomend staying here to anyone.

This chalet was beautiful, very clean and stocked with amenitites. We enjoyed the hot tub after touring all day, and liked the fact that it was so close to attractions yet far enough away to be peaceful and restful at night.

We loved this beautiful chalet. Kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of cookware and a large refrigerator to make it easy for me to cook for our large family. We were pleasantly surprised by all of the child friendly amenities including sippy cups, children's silverware, baby gate and portacrib. This made things especially nice for our 2 year old. The climate control was excellent, very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. Our only discomfort was insufficient seating in the living and dining rooms, but we knew that before we rented the chalet. The owners were very helpful and accomodating.

My husband and I spent 4 days/nights here for our honeymoon. The cabin was just as described in the pictures, except a little more cozy. It was very clean, and well maintained. The location was perfect; secluded enough for alone time, but close enough to easily take trips to downtown or hiking or the market whenever needed. We bought food at the market down the street and the kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast in the mornings, including coffee, and prepare anything else we wanted. We hiked at Laurell Falls, not far from the cabin and saw a momma bear and 3 cubs. We enjoyed playing pool in the game room upstairs, the maginificent views of the fall foliage surrounding the cabin, relaxing in the hot tub on the deck, staying in and playing games with the fire place on...Only recommendations would be to bring replacement trash bags and salt and pepper which we didn't think to bring along with our groceries. Also, there was a problem with lady bugs - but this is common in this area - probably the case in any cabin up there... But would definately recommend this cabin for a nice, quiet, relaxing get-away. This was spacious for the two of us, but could accommodate more as there were 2 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. One of the bed rooms also had a twin bed/futon. The beds and pillows were comfy, but you might want to bring a cozier blanket. Be careful if you come during a time of year when there is snow or ice, as the drive to/from the cabin from the main road goes up/down a pretty steep, windy, narrow mountain and seems like it could be pretty trechorous to navigate through in those conditions. The cabin has all ammenities such as washer/dryer/iron/ironing board/fridge/microwave/dishwasher/oven-stove/computer with internet access/2 dvd players... And there is a grocery store just a few minutes away which is open til 12am for anything you may have forgotten, which also rents movies. Would highly recommend this cabin. It was great.
