Lovely little getaway to a recently remodeled lakeshore cabin located just two hours from the Twin Cities in Cumberland, Wisconsin.
The cabin is just 20 footsteps to a 320 acre spring fed, clear water water of Sand Lake. It's 70 feet deep and excellent for fishing, water sports, or just a relaxing canoe ride around the wooded shoreline.
Sand Lake is in western Wisconsin, located six miles from Cumberland, Wisconsin. Just fifteen miles from Rice Lake. Twenty miles from Turtle Lake Casino.
This log cabin is lake level with a large screen porch overlooking the lakeshore. Perfect for watching loons or just relaxing after a day on the lake.
Provided for your use is a dock, fishing boat, and a canoe.
This slice of heaven can be rented by the week, summer season, or a four day block during off season.

Ah...to be "home" again in Cumberland! We have truly missed this place. God gave us five days of absolutely beautiful weather. Sun filled days and cool nights by the campfire. It was as wonderful as our memories from 2011. Highlights include: floating and sunning all day. Fish fry dinners. Grilling with the world famous "Louie's". Water skiing and tubing. Wave runner, wave runner, wave runner!! Listening to "Fox that Rox" on the radio all day and night. Coffee dockside. Afternoon appetizers and cocktails dockside. Catching a two foot muskie off the dock. We are once again thankful to be able to get away to such a perfect retreat. It is indeed good for the body and soul. Your cabin has been such a joy to stay at! We arrived on such a short notice, but were pleasantly surprised on how wonderful this place is! We caught fish non-stop off the dock, swam off the beach, grilled out, and even went into town to try our luck at the casino. It has been an amazing season from May to October! We have been blessed to enjoy this peace-filled retreat through spring, summer, and fall. Hosting family and friends nearly every weekend allowed us to fully experience all that the cabin and Cumberland had to offer. Some of the highlights were: Barbecues every night w/ the world famous Louie's (we are truly going to miss that); catching snails on the swimming beach; floating on the raft w/the occasional picnic; fishing, fishing, fishing - sometimes catching. Small / large bass, sunnies, even a three foot muskie!! Morning coffee on the dock, afternoon cocktails on the dock, pretty much hanging out on the dock. Playing games in the evening w/the party lights on. Playing on the wave runner - WOW! Tubing, skiing, attempting wake boarding. Friday night frosty mug at the Corner Bar. Chatting with the neighbors - especially Tony and Tiffany (stonewell too). Morning runs around the roads by the cabin. Finding the Hilltop. Gathering around the TV to watch a movie. Making cookies on rainy days. Watching the fall colors change. Watching the awesome Camp Loud 4th of July fireworks. Campfires and s'mores every day. We are so thankful for the opportunity to call your cabin "home" for this season. It was absolutely perfect. All of our guests immediately felt at home. It has been a much needed, wonderful escape for us and our many friends and family that came. The cabin has the right recipe of modern convenience and simplicity that truly allows you to break away from life and rest.
