We call this place 'Emile's Villa', so it's part of the family, where we go on holiday, and our son thinks it's special. We've three kids, so take up an inordinate amount of room. There's so much space ... 1935 square feet takes a lot of filling up even for our mob, so it even looks tidy most of the time!
Then there's the hangers-on ... we are often joined by brothers, sisters, and their families. The grandparents love it, no stairs, time with the kids, and, if it all gets too exhausting, have a quiet day sitting by the pool.
Of course, you can have too much of a good thing, even if it's friends rather than family. That's where the Family room comes in handy. With its own TV and comfortable sofas, everybody's not forced to sit together in the Living Room, which also has its own TV and comfortable sofas. This reduces the 'discussion' on TV channels, or even whether (bliss) to switch the thing off completely.
It always amazes us that guests want to dine in the villa, when there are so many amazing restaurants nearby, especially down the Hwy 192. However, we supply everything reasonably required for the cook (Dad in our family), to produce an amazing spread... provided that he had the presence of mind to pop down to the nearby supermarket earlier!
The Dining Room is linked with the lounge, and sits eight comfortably around the dining table (most villas seat only six). Dad usually cheats and phones for an Indian or Chinese meal to be delivered.
The Nook seats four at the round table. We've never seen more than four surface simultaneously for breakfast, so this does well.
For sleeping accommodation, we bag the Master Bedroom and its Queen-size bed, and en-suite, with all the usual, plus separate Him & Her sinks (no comment), romantic heart-shaped bath, separate shower cubicle, and large walk-in wardrobe (in case you need somewhere to put your shopping).
In the morning, Dad can walk straight out from the bedroom onto the pool deck, checking the water temperature before a gentle soak in the pool.
When travelling with another family, there is another Double Bedroom. This also has an en suite bathroom... and its next to the twin rooms, so they have to deal with the kids getting up in the night!
Yes, two twin rooms. One fairly soberly decorated, the other has, you've guessed it, a Disney theme, and the kids love it. These are right next to the third and Pool Bathroom. This has a toilet, sink, bath and shower. During the day it serves the Pool area.
Just to cope with all combinations of family and guests, we've two z-beds which can be put wherever necessary, and one of the Family Room sofas converts to a double bed. Given the maximum of ten this must suit all normal family arrangements. Then, if there's a baby about, we have a cot, bedding and high chair.
For us, the magic time is when the kids, exhausted by the day's excitement are soundly asleep, and we can retire to the poolside, with a nicely chilled Chardonnay, relax in the evening's subtle warmth, and chat, with the occasional insect chirping in the background. Perfect!

Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our stay at your villa, it was so nice, a real home from home. We enjoyed being able to get away from the crowds and relax in peace an quiet. Our daughters spent all their spare time in the pool. We have alot of great photos and fantastic memories. The instructions from the airport were excellent and we really appreicated having the welcome pack waiting for us on arrival. Thanks once again, it was brilliant.

Thank you. We have just returned from two weeks in your villa and had a fantastic holiday. Even with two families (9 of us in total) there was plenty of space for everyone. The kids always managed to find time to use the pool. When we did have some time at the villa it was great for us all to be able to sit round the dining room table. Everyone enjoyed the holiday - we just need another one now to recover!!

Jo, Jim and family Thank you for a fantastic time in your villa. Everything was thought of and the welcome pack was worth even cent. Just what we needed after the long flight. There is so much room in the villa and my girls (7 and 9) loved everything but without a doubt the pool stole the show. The shops were just round the corner and just a short ride to the parks. It was so quite and convenient. We survived WILMA!! We can highly recommend your villa to anyone who wants to contact us. thanks again Dave, Gill, Gemma and Sophie.

Dear Jo, Jim & Family, Many Thanks for letting us use your villa during our stay in florida. The villa was everything we expected and much more besides. The location was perect for all our needs and it was great having you stay in the villa next door as you gave us some great hints and tips. Jo Jim Thank you vey much for your villa, we've just been there for a week and got back yesterday and it was fantastic, we had a really really good holiday. We live in Oxfordshire so our children were on holiday the week just gone. It was incredibly quiet in Orlando which was fantastic for going to the parks and things. The children loved the pool and we were very happy and there was plenty of space. So thank you very much indeed and hopefully we will be able to go again at some point. Hi Jo, Emile's Villa was just wonderful. We particularly liked the photos of your beautiful children looking out at us from around the villa. It was bliss to just relax by the pool with a good book and a glass of wine, but was just as good being so close to all the attractions. Wal-Mart was near enough for us to get our Wal-Mart fix and the discount stores were brilliant for the retail therapist. We would recommend this villa to anyone who enjoys a comfortable, no restrictions, fun holiday. Thanks Jan 7 Dave

Dear Jo,Thank you, for the cheque of £150.00 from the security deposit on the villa in Florida.I would like to thank you, on behalf of all of our 2 families, for letting us use your villa in Florida.We all had such a lovely time there; it was so nice after a day out to know we were going back to such a nice place to relax. My two boys Shane 5 and Niall 2 had a fantastic time in the swimming pool and they both improved in their confidence in the water as well.The other great thing about the villa is that because of the size of the villa you have somewhere to go in the villa if you needed a bit of time or space to your own.For my 40th birthday we all went to the Pirates Show, what a fantastic show. They involved all of the audience in the show and before you go in there is a place to have drinks and nibbles, face painting, gift shops and a show to get you going before we even went in to the main show. In the middle of the auditoriuim they had a big sailing ship as the stage, it was all done so well, they even had our 4 children dressed up as soldiers at the end of the show to shoot the pirates. At the end of the show you could stay on for the disco.They certainly know how to put on shows and look after people on holiday at all of the theme parks, restaurants etc.One day we drove over to Daytona Beach it had just opened up after all the damaged it had received from the 4 Hurricanes. You could see that about 3 to 4 feet of sand had gone from the beach and damage that had been done to hotel and motels but they did not let it get them down. If they could open their businesses they would or start repairing. The people we spoke to were just happy to be alive.After we left your villa we stayed at the Holiday Inn at Indian Rocks and had a few days in Clearwater. That was a lovely place to stay as well. On our last weekend there was a big football match between the Buccaneers (Tampa) and Chicago Bears so there was a lot of people in from Chicago for the weekend in Clearwater.We are hoping to be able to go out to Florida in a couple of years time, and I have a friend who may be interested in staying at your villa as last time they went to Florida they stayed in a hotel with 3 children.Thank you, again for letting us use your lovely holiday home. We are all back into our normal routines but we all found it very had when we got back home to get used to the time difference I have never had jet lag like that before I suppose be

Sorry its taken so long to contact you since we arrived back but its taken quite a while getting back into the swing of things! We all had an absolutely fantastic time. We were all totally overwhelmed when we arrived at Westridge Manors. Your villa is beautiful. Even though we were apparently in your 'smaller' villa, we couldn't find anything 'small' about it!! We explored Orlando to the full and as far afield as we had time for. We did Daytona beach, Clearwater Beach, Kennedy Space Centre, Gatorland, went up in a helicopter, spent a day shopping as well as Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios, Universal Studios, Island of Adventure & Seaworld. We came back absolutely exhausted but having had the time of our lives. Thank you for the use of your Florida home.
