Time evaporates as you gaze over the water at the unobstructed sweeping view, magnificent sunsets, full moon over the water, and snow capped Olympic Mountains.
When the tide is in you feel like you're on a boat, when the tide is out you can walk for miles. There’s great clamming, fishing, crabbing, or strolling on the sandy beach just outside your living room door. Relax on the comfy deck chaises; watch nature’s show of bald eagles, great blue herons, and egrets. You'll become mesmerized by the tide working its way in or out. There’s absolutely nothing like beach front!
We furnished our house with comfort in mind. The living room has a large sectional sofa and reclining leather chairs. The TV room has two sofas and two easy chairs. The beds are new and comfy with lots of down pillows. The master bedroom/bath which is upstairs, by itself, has a king-size bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed, the third bedroom and fourth bedrooms have two twin beds in each.
During the late summer and early autumn, pick wild blackberries and make apple pie using the apples from the tree on our property.
Our large kitchen is well stocked and big enough for several chefs. We have all conveniences! In addition to a large plasma TV with DVD player, we have a portable TV/VCR. We also have a stereo system that includes an AM/FM tuner and CD player The house is about 3200 square feet, with 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, two family rooms, and an open floor plan all in a sunny, southern exposure.
Our house is 90 minutes from Seattle including the spectacular (car) ferry ride. We are 12 minutes from the ferry and 12 minutes from Langley. Whidbey Island is a bucolic paradise that has many interesting shops, local theater, movie theatres, art galleries, antique stores, gardens, and great restaurants including the world class restaurant at the Inn at Langley. There’s hiking, golfing, horse back riding as well as bike, kayak and boat rentals; an abundance of activities for everyone. Don’t overlook the numerous State Parks and especially the old growth walk at South Whidbey State Park. There are many seasonal festivals and two Farmer’s Markets, one of which runs 10 months a year.
From our location you can take wonderful day trips, such as to the Olympic Peninsula. But most guests, like us, just want to stay close to their slice of paradise on the beach!

Our family of 6 simply loved this magnificent home. 4 adults and 2 children along with our water loving dog never wanted to leave. The first day we saw 2 bald eagles on the beach...our dog wished he could have caught them. That same day, the tide was very low and we walked out and saw folks from the street bringing in fresh crabs that they had just emptied from their pots. We brought our bikes and loved riding up and down the very flat street througout the day. Across the street are a couple of very friendly horses that appreciate carrots from time to time. All in all, it couldn't have been better. Beautiful home, deck, view and facilities. We're already booked for next year.

This is one of our all time favorite spots. We've been coming back for over 5 years. The house has absolutely everything you'd need. Completely stocked kitchen, great plasma TV, right on the beach. We love to drink martinis at sunset and watch our kids and dog play on the beach. Thanks so much for letting us rent your incredible home.

Wonderful house that we return to each year without fail. Right on the beach--walk off the deck, onto a grass lawn, and then onto the SANDY beach. Soft sand on the beach and in the water that goes out for miles. Perfect for one or more familes. We take our dog each year and she starts to go crazy with anticipation as soon as we begin driving down the street towards the house.

Your beach house is the BEST! We have so much fun there with our family ~ be it swimming, beach walks, buildng sand castles or just relaxing and watching the tide roll in. The house has so much room for us all, we just enjoy coming back year after year--look forward to next year!

What a fabulous home. Great views, wonderful beach, terrific location. Our family of six spent many hours watching the eagles and seeing the magic of tide changes for a week. This place is a must re-visit and we love the way you have it decorated. We love it...thanks so much for making it available to our family and our pets.

Our visit can only be described as fabulous! We arrived during a rain storm, but enjoyed every minute sitting in front of the panoramic picture windows. This home had all of the amenties of our own home. It was spacious, comfortable and peaceful being right on the water. I highly recommend this island oasis to any group that wants to treat themselves to a great hassle-free get-away!

Wonderful time as always. This was our 4th year and we look forward to booking for 2006. Our son had a grand time building forts, making sand castles and swimming. We had a great time! The location was perfect, the house was wonderful, and the beach was great for the kids who loved how far out the tide would go...they could play in the warm sand for hours!!! We 8 ppl and there was plenty of room! Thanks for sharing your fabulous home!

When I go out of town for that rare and much-needed vacation, I want everything to be perfect: accommodations, ambience, view, etc. This house instantly became my private paradise when I stayed there in early May. I loved waking up to the sights and sounds of seagulls and crashing waves. I loved tkaing long walks on the beach. I loved watching the sun set over the dazzling bay. An unexpected bonus was the enormous kitchen, where four friends and I were able to prepare extravagant meals withouth tripping over each other. this was an unforgettable experience!

Simply incredible! This place was comfortable, had all the amenities, clean, and absolutely perfect for the dogs! The beach was irresistible for walking, wading, finding treasures, and just simply relaxing. WOW! What an incredible, all-around perfect place! Thank you!
