Year Purchased: 1997
About the owner: I moved here 17 years ago following a visit where I fell in love with Portland's 'not so big' size and European feel. My business partner is native to the area and shares my feelings about the city's energy and diversity.
Why the Owner Chose Nob Hill: Not unlike as it was in the early 1900's showing its prosperity, our NW neighborhood has seen a revival spurred on by gentrification. As such, we have renovated this Historic Beauty over the past 15 years trying to keep the original circa 1900 feel.
In the backyard, the setting is tranquil with a great soft-scaped patio space.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment: One of the best benefits of this property is that it's in a quiet, residential neighborhood yet just a few minutes from all of the action of NW Portland, Pearl District and Downtown!
If you like to walk and explore, this is such a lovely neighborhood in which to do that. No car is necessary for your stay here.
I love the history of the building and how the turn-of-the-century character has been preserved in its details.
A lovely, private patio to relax or dine al fresco on is just steps outside the front door.
