Casa Rosada is a beautiful colonial home with all the modern conveniences to assure a comfortable, safe and enjoyable visit to historic San Miguel de Allende. The location is ideal: an easy, level, 3-5 minute walk to art galleries, restaurants, shopping, and to the Instituto Allende. An 8-10 minute walk will bring you to the Jardín (the tourist and historic center) and the famous Parroquia. Yet, it is located on a no-thru street which minimizes the noise of traffic and the bustle of city business. There is also a walkaway into the center of town from the end of the street.

There are two private garden patios on the ground floor where you can enjoy a meal, morning coffee, or read a book by the fountain. From the two rooftop terraces you have a magnificent view of the city and the countryside. You can lounge there and enjoy the romantic sunsets over the mountains.

The two cozy bedrooms have fireplaces and boveda (domed) ceilings with ceiling fans. A private terrace adjoins the master bedroom. There is an adjoining full bathroom full of light off each bedroom. The modern and bright kitchen has everything you need to prepare any meal. Purified water from a tap is available in the kitchen. Arched ceilings and a fireplace in the main room assures you a comfortable and romantic atmosphere.

Casa Rosada is our home in San Miguel de Allende. While we make it available for rental when we are not in residence, it is not the average rental property. We feel that your experience in festive and colorful San Miguel will be enhanced by staying in charming and comfortable Casa Rosada.
