VRBO Bear stayed here - 09/26/2005 "Lucky Charm" gives a whole new meaning to the word charm! You’ll love this beautiful home with its front porch gazebo where you can relax and enjoy the early morning and late evening views of the cove (actually, any time of the day). Enjoy the lovely gardens and pathways and the large and small patio areas. Talk about peace and tranquility--this is where it is!!
Inside, every room is tastefully decorated and comfortable. You’ll find everything you need to prepare meals in the fully-equipped kitchen, and you can see the cove from the dining room while you enjoy your meal. Not everyone goes on vacation to cook though, so you can also enjoy the nearby restaurants.
While you’re in the area, you’ll want to spend time in Gig Harbor and Kopachuck State Park with its picnic sites, beach, hiking trails, and the many activities available for all ages. You golfers will want to play at Horseshoe Lake Golf Course where you’ll see the marshals on horseback. You’re close to the Bremerton ferries and the Tacoma Narrows Bridge for close access to things to see and do in any direction. Start out early and spend a whole day at Olympic National Park, Mt. Rainier National Park, Mt. St. Helens National Volcanic Monument, or Victoria on Vancouver Island, B.C.
My friends who took me to Lucky Charm had their 4-year-old granddaughter with them during part of the stay, and she begged them to buy this house so she could live there. I sure do understand why she wanted to "stay there forever"!!
