The house was amazing. We had three families and the set up couldn't of been better. We had plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and the kitchen was great. It was ski in ski out and easily accessible to all the Beaver Creek restaurants and attractions. We loved every minute of it and can't wait to go back. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a clean awesome ski in ski out rental. The owner couldn't of been easier to work with. I even left my camera and he found it and shipped it to me free of charge.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

The house was amazing and perfect for a family getaway. The house was very clean and easy to access. My nieces loved the loft and all the kid friendly actives available in the house. The decks were a perfect place to relax in the sun and listen to the water. There was plenty of room for 14 people. The hot tub is very nice. Very close to town and several amazing golf courses. We also had a great time fishing on the river. I highly recommend this house any time of year. The owners are very friendly, responsive, and easy to work with. Great experience overall. I will be staying here again on our next mountain retreat.

Great Ski-In Ski-Out Home for Large Families

House was great and worked very well for our large family.....kids, parents and grandparents. Perfect ski-in ski-out location directly on beginner slope. Grandkids could not wait to go sledding on the slope after ski lifts were closed. House was clean and well maintained and homeowners were very easy to work with. Weather was wonderful with great snow and sunshine. Overall great ski vacation experience.

Fabulous home that lived up to all our expectations. The hot tub was great and everyone had their own room and bathroom. This is a true ski-in/ski-out home! We will definitely be back.

Luxurious vacation home in fabulous condition, gorgeous setting and perfect for multiple families. The kids loved their separate room w/ bunk beds and ladder access! The nicest home we have stayed in through VRBO, by far. Highly recommended, we will definitely go back.

If your headed to the Vail Valley this is the place to stay! The house is incredible and the location is beautiful. It was a real treat to experience spring time in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Thank you for sharing this piece of the world with us.

Dream ski-in ski-out house. I have been renting condos and houses for family and guys trips for past 10 years. NOTHING compares to this beautiful house in the most perfect setting - go out the back door, slip on your skis, and ski to lift in 30 seconds. From there you can ski 3 different mountains, come back in for lunch, and at end of day soak in patio hot tub. Then sit in balcony and sip some wine while you enjoy the view and watch people skiing by. House is large, very cozy, clean and with every convenience. Owners are great to work with, beats paying outrageous prices going through resorts or management companies. There is no better ski-in ski-out property anywhere in the area(including all of Beaver Creek and Vail).

My family just returned from the Engleby House and I must admit it was an awesome experience. First of all Bob was a pleasure to work with and the whole booking process was extrememly smooth. The house was just as advertised and it was truly ski-in, ski-out. Every day we just walked out the back door, past the hot tub and got out on the slopes. While Bob had nothting to do with the weather (I don't think), that too made for a perfect trip. Almost a foot of powder fell while we there, but the daytime temperatures where in the 30's and even got up to the 40's. We've been skiing in many different locations and this truly was one of the best and most convenient locations. I strongly recommend this house and Beaver Creek experience.

We have just returned from a week including Presidents day weekend. The House is superb and just as convienient as advertised. We had a number of lunches at home, because it is quicker than waiting for a space at a crowded restaurant! It is that close to the slopes. The owners are helpful and easy to dela with. If you are worried about Arrowhead being remote from Beaver Creek, don't, we put our 13 year old in ski school at Beaver Creek every morning by skiing there (8.30am at Arrowhead lift -leave the house at 8.29)then ski over and still hit the main Beaver creek area before 9.15. You cna also get a shuttle a few yeards form the slopes and get there even quiker. When it gets busy about 11.30, take the always empty Strawberry park lift over to Batchelor Gulch or Arrowhead and spend the afternoon on their empty slopes. Wonderful week, wonderful property. I unhestiting recommend this.

Dear Bob, We wanted to tell you about our stay at your home in Arrowhead. It exceeded our expectations. It was a wonderful home and convenient to all places we needed to be (and wanted to go to). I hope you will continue to lease the house in the future as we intend to come back. I can't thank you enough for allowing us to rent your beautiful home. I will say, we did put up the new ladder to the loft area since it was available and the other was a bit shaky. I hope you don't mind. We placed the old ladder in the spot where the new one was standing. By the way, the wedding was beautiful and the Beaver Creek Chapel was perfect! The Engleby house is really an amazing place to stay! When you walk in, it feels open and spacious, but somehow the floorplan allows for plenty of privacy. The beds were unbelievably comfortable, making you want to stay in them all morning, until you look out the enormous picture window in the master bedroom, and see the lift carrying skiers right outside your window! All of a sudden, you can't get your skis on fast enough!! Adults will enjoy the beautiful kitchen, luxurious mountain furnishings, and deep jetted tub. But the kids will love the special loft-like room upstairs where two children can sleep in custom child-sized beds built right into the walls. Enjoy your stay here. We definitely did!

The house and amenities are unbelievable. House is right on the slope, you can practically ski into the hot tub. We stayed with 5 other couples and there's plenty of room. We will definitely be back.

We stayed in the Engelby house in February this year. We had 12 adults in our group and still had room for more. The location, amenities, and the house itself are all excellent.

We loved staying in this home. We have small children and the access to the slopes was awesome. We have stayed in places before that claim ski-in/ski-out but weren't as advertised. At this place you walk out the back door and up a small bank and are on the slope, not some access trail. A tip that helped us: use the snow shovel outside to build small steps in the snow to get up the bank easily. The house was awesome. Our kids loved playing with all the toys that are there. Absolutely the best place we have ever stayed in every respect.

The Engleby house was amazing, the beds and bedding were plush, the home is beautiful and the nicest home we've stayed in to snow ski, we loved the ski in/ski out location and everything about the place. If we ski that area again we would love to return to this house.

The Engleby's house was fabulous!We had 11 people staying in the house with room to spare.The ski-in ski-out convenience of this location made this the best Colorado ski experience we've ever had.I highly recommend this house if you are going to Beaver Creek.

I can't adequately describe how great the Engleby house was--literally right on the hill, a hot tub, plenty of room for six adults and two children. We were so pleased with our stay we contacted the Enblebys immediately upon our return to reserve for next year!

We had 14 people stay at the Engleby's house and it absolutely exceeded our expectations in every way. Clean, nicely furnished, lots of room, secure and safe. The house has the nice touches that make you feel like you haven't left the comforts of your personal home. Having direct access to the slopes from the back door was a big bonus as well as a hot tub for use after a long day on the slopes. Our group unanimously agreed we'd like to return next year.

We had a wonderful stay in this exquisite condo. It was a perfect spot for our three families (6 adults and 5 kids)! It is truly ski-in and ski-out on the Arrowhead mountain. Our kids loved sitting in the hot tub and waving to skiiers whizzing past and going up the lift. It truly is my dream house. Beautiful kitchen, comfortable living room, well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms, etc.

We had a WONDERFUL stay in Arrowhead. The place was perfect!! One of MANY great features was the ski in/ski out...the convenience for everyone was perfect. The house was large enough and flowed so well. We had a house full of people and you never felt over crowded. We would highly recommend the property. It was well worth it!! Thank you so much!!
