A beautifully decorated, fully appointed, Executive Home right at the water's edge at Sandy Point. Enjoy the sunrise over Mount Baker in the morning and sunsets on the beach with a glass of wine, overlooking the San Juan Islands, Lummi, Orcas, and Sucia. Watch cruise ships sailing from Alaska, cargo ships from the Orient, and oil tankers sail by the house. Binoculars are on the table for you to identify the various ships out front.
Bring your kayak or canoe and launch from the beach in front of the house. There is a marina with boat launching at Sandy Point. A pod or two of Orca whales, sea lions, and many ducks are foraging in front. Walk the beach and find small tide pools of sea creatures, sea stars, crabs, shells, and glass souvenirs.
Look north and see the lights off Point Roberts. On a clear night see the lights on Grosse Mountain north of Vancouver, British Columbia. Watch the herons come alive. Start the day with a walk or bike ride around the neighborhood. Flat land - perfect for biking!
The home features a master bedroom on the oceanside with a queen-size bed, a guest room with a queen-size bed on the oceanside with its own deck, a charming children's room decorated for our grandchildren with two twin beds. All the beds have down comforters and feather pillows. |
