Relax in a 19 jet hot tub under the stars after walking back (no need to drive) from "the best night life on Maui." Makawao is an old paniolo (cowboy) town that hosts a Fourth of July rodeo parade and a winter holiday parade with costumed riders and lei-draped horses.
Ideally situated 1500 feet Upcountry between tropical-rainy-Haiku to the east and the arid West Shores crowded with condos and tourist-trappings, Makawao offers abundant character and lavish rainbows. Maui is the heart chakra of the earth and Makawao is her spiritual center for holistic healing on this nurturing island.
Makawao's convenient location allows visitors to get an early-bird jump on some of Maui's most famous must-do activities, including watching the sun rise from Haleakala Crater (literally, in Hawaiian, House of the Sun), visiting Tedeshi Winery and nearby labyrinths; and enjoying the waterfalls and tropical foilage along the curvy Hana Highway.

$80-$90/night .. $525-$575/week .. $1550-$1800/month
3 night minimum; $50 Cleaning Fee waived for stays of a week or longer.
50% Deposit to secure reservation; Balance Due one month prior to arrival.
Refund less $25 Processing Fee for cancellations made 30 days in advance.
Pro-rated Refunds if re-rental possible for cancellations within 30 days.
Payment Options: credit card, money order, or checks drawn on US banks.

Well, what can I say? Do I really have to get off the bed? You're lucky I don't have a flatbed truck, or I'd be haulin' this thing outta here! :-) My stay here was exactly what I needed--without even knowing it! I enjoyed talking and laughing with you guys this morning. It was a lot of fun. You guys have so much to give to Maui and to those that come here, and I know that Maui has a tendency to bless people like you in return. I Ke kala's Hula Hale offers something so different than other B&Bs.... Others may offer a bigger space or fancier amenities but none of them offer a bigger heart, or more soothing environment for relaxation or healing...and the other places don't offer the two of you! Thank you both so much for the opportunity to "DeStress" here...it worked! Your whole space is like one big flotation tank for mind, body and spirit! Lots and lots of love and thanks! P.S. My little girl would nuts over the "fishy" bathroom: "Nemo, Nemo, Nemo!" :-)

Thank you sooo much for putting "last minute" retreat together. The Flotation tank was great! The massage was awesome! I will be back, soon. Casanova's was great as well. I ran into some people I knew and we hung out and watched the belly dancing show they put on. I came back to my room and slept like a baby!!! Take care. Aloha.
