New cabin under 300 year old oak tree, available all year - Blue Ridge Parkway Cabin Rental Brand new smoke-free cabin sits under huge oak tree and across from trout stream in Pisgah National Forest. Located at the base of Mt. Mitchell and walking distance to the Mt. Mitchell Crest trailhead. Hike the trails of the forest and be back home in your cabin the same day without having to drive. Fish or go tubing in the South Toe River or play a round of golf at the Mt. Mitchell Country Club. Located ten minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 30 minutes to historic downtown Burnsville, one hour to Asheville or Boone. We call the cabin "Serendipity", a fortunate discovery. Our family has been coming to Western North Carolina for years searching for the perfect family vacation spot. We believe we have found it in Serendipity. It is the perfect combination, isolated but not too far from civilization. You can arrive, with a stop at the supermarket on the way in, and have enough to do without having to use your car. $130/night Fridays, Saturdays, Holidays and Events
$100/night all of January and February, including weekends
$200 refundable deposit to hold dates and act as damage deposit.

No charge for cancellation made 30 days prior to arrival date.
There is a two night minimum.
