This is a newly remodeled unit located in a quiet central Venice neighbor hood. There is a Queen bed with memory foam mattress and individual reading lights. 600 count sheets are provided.
There is a seating area with a love seat for two. Dining area and a complete kitchen. Outdoor Patio. Marina del Rey is close by as is Santa Monica. Abbott Kinney Blvd. is right next door. Good restaurants and a hot bar scene are within walking distance.
Owners, who live right next door are friendly and very willing to help you experience a great visit to Los Angles in general and Venice Beach in particular.

Why the Owner Chose Venice Beach
When I first moved to Southern California in 1969 to open a restaurant with my bother Peter I rented an apartment in the Venice Canals. Two years later when the landlord raise my rent to what I thought was an amount that might cover a mortgage payment I went house hunting. Venice was an almost slum back in those days and prices were cheep. Venice is now one of the hippest neighbor hoods in LA.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment
We live here all the time and never go on vacation for a change of climate only for a change of scenery.
What is there to say, the second greatest tourist attraction in LA.
Where decent clothes go to die. An extra 10% off on Tuesdays for those over 55. LIKE brand golf shirts for $10. Met a lady there once who only shops here and on Rodeo Drive. LOVE THE PLACE.
Owner's Map of Venice Beach
We are your hosts. Sandy Toshiyuki and the husband Frank Soracco. Frank has lived in Venice since 1969 and I have lived here since we married in 1979. We worked at a restaurant we owned in Marina del Rey for many years. We gave up day to day management recently but we still keep our hand in a bit. However we can still make a great Martini. Our Vacation rental is a Father in Law unit, in our house, where my dad lived for 8 years until he died in 2004. After he died Frank remodeled the unit as a guest room for friends an relatives. When so few came to visit and Frank couldn't stand having an idle asset so when friends told him about VRBO, he joined up. Having HOTEL 508 next door has been a great joy for us as we have met many wonderful people from all over the world and we look forward to meeting many more.

10-30 & 31 November 1st, 2011! Frank & Sandy, Our stay at HOTEL 508 exceeded our expectations. The location was everything we wanted and more! I live in Venice and rented this for my brother and his girlfriend. It is adorable, perfect for two, great atmosphere and perfectly placed between abbott kinney and the beach. It doesn't get much better than this adorable studio!
