  A wonderful water side vacation retreat! Nicely furnished and decorated. The covered and shaded back porch was great for watching the Pelicans and the sunsets! Very close/convenient to the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores but very quiet. Highly recommend!

  We are a group of long time friends (almost 60 years). The home was everything and more. Comfortable furniture and nicely decorated. Just like being at home. Close enough to the busy Gulf Shores but secluded enough and super quiet. Great sunsets a short walk down the road. All this and great owners! HIGHLY recommend!

  The house was everything the owner said it would be, and more! Clean, spacious, well-equipped. We loved the sunsets off of the dock, and got in quite a bit of fishing too! We were together with our whole family and had friends over for a cookout as well. Such a comfortable place! We hope to return next year!

  We can't say enough how wonderful this home is. The area is perfect if you just want to relax or if you are the type who always has to be on the go. The chose is up to you. The things to do range from outdoor sports to basic relaxing in the sun. Vince and Jan are great to work with and Vince called to make sure everything was okay and we were having fun. The next door neighbors, Frank and Sumner are so down to earth and friendly. You just want to pull up a chair and chat for a while with them. We are coming back!!! We hope this to be our permenant vacation stay. Mary, Gerry and Sean

  We spend an entire week (10/6-14) in this lovely beach home during and loved every minute of our stay! We were able to walk to the annual Gulf Shores Annual Shrimp Festival which was a plus not to have to fight the traffic. The home is located in a very quiet neighborhood. The view from the back porch is awesome! Our two small Maltese dogs truly enjoyed their adventures in the fenced-in back yard! Thanks for letting us rent your beach home!

  We have been searching for the perfect family vacation and because of Jan and Vince we were able to finally have it. Everything about this home says, you're on a beach vacation. From the plank floors to the tasteful beach themed artwork makes this place the perfect get-away. The outside has a covered veranda with ceiling fans and a deck for BBQing and dining al fresco while watching a beautiful sunset over the lagoon. The dock makes a wonderful sunning deck and the landing makes it easy to get in and out of the water. This was not my first time vacationing at Gulf Shores but it was the first time we stayed here (hopefully not our last) and it was the first time we had a falwlessly awesome, fun, exciting, drama free and totally relaxing time. I highly recomend staying here if you get the opprtunity.

  Words cannot express how much we enjoyed our stay at Sunset Daze. We loved the house....it more than met our expectations. I was surprised to find the house was even nicer than I expected......and it was nice and roomy for all of us. We were very interested in how far the house was from the beach, but we quickly discovered the balcony looking onto the lagoon to be our favorite place. We spent every chance we got sitting on the swing looking out onto the lagoon.....my teenage son and his friend loved playing their guitars out there too....what a peaceful place it was. It was so nice to fish and crab right off the pier with our children and grandchildren. I loved sitting in the big comfy chair in the loft.....there is a nice selection of books already provided in the bookshelves. The walk to the beautiful beach was just minutes away....and the corner grocery was very convenient. Our grandchildren are already asking us when our next trip to the beach house will be? We have spent many summers in Gulf Shores, but this was by far our favorite trip and we will return to Sunset Daze again and again. Jan and Vince are very sweet people and they are very accomodating. We would recommend this home to all our friends and family as the perfect place to relax and get away.

  Our party of 6 (7 counting Roper the dog) thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was affordable, clean, spacious and perfectly located on a quiet street, with great neighbors and within a short walk to the beach. The back porch runs the entire length of the house, and quickly became my favorite spot for enjoying coffee & a book in the morning and sunset viewing at dusk. Vince & Jan were very pleasant to work with.

  The place lived up to everything stated on the vrbo site. The beds were comfortable, house was clean and the location was fantastic! The goal was to have a few days of mild temps, relaxation and fun. We achieved all of that! I'd definitely recommend this area and particularly this house to anyone wanting to check out the Gulf Shores of AL.

  Great house in great location within walking distance to Shrimp Festival. House was very clean along with great views from the back porch and great fishing off of the private pier. Vince and Jan were great to work with too. Will definitely consider staying here again soon!

Nov Dec and Jan $1650 per month plus tax and cleaning
Add 11% tax and $125.00 cleaning fee. $250 security deposit must be received
to reserve our house. Full rental fee due two weeks prior to arrival date.
