Our party of 6 (7 counting Roper the dog) thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was affordable, clean, spacious and perfectly located on a quiet street, with great neighbors and within a short walk to the beach. The back porch runs the entire length of the house, and quickly became my favorite spot for enjoying coffee & a book in the morning and sunset viewing at dusk. Vince & Jan were very pleasant to work with.

Great weekend of R&R

The place lived up to everything stated on the vrbo site. The beds were comfortable, house was clean and the location was fantastic! The goal was to have a few days of mild temps, relaxation and fun. We achieved all of that! I'd definitely recommend this area and particularly this house to anyone wanting to check out the Gulf Shores of AL.

Great house in great location within walking distance to Shrimp Festival. House was very clean along with great views from the back porch and great fishing off of the private pier. Vince and Jan were great to work with too. Will definitely consider staying here again soon!

Peaceful Oasis

On the spur of the moment, I booked this home for 4 nights. The owners were very prompt in their responses to my emails. They were easy to work with and exuded Southern Hospitality. The house was spacious and comfortable. Our favorite spot was the back deck. There was nothing better than sitting in the swing underneath the ceiling fans and looking out over the water. It was so peaceful and the perfect opportunity for me to relax and recharge for a new school year. I was also extremely happy that my chihuahua was able to travel with me. She had a great time in the fenced in back yard. I have already looked at the calendar to plan my next retreat. One of my guests left a stuffed bunny behind. I arrived home to an email from Jan and Vince stating that the bunny had been found. It was mailed to me the next day. What wonderful service! I really appreciate that. Thanks Jan and Vince!

Home away from home!!!

This is our second visit this year to Sundaze. We have fallen in love with this beach house. The owners, Jan and Vince are wonderful to work with. They are very friendly,accommodating, and conscientious owners. The house is just as beautiful as advertised and it had all the aminities that we needed to have a fantastic vacation. We knew we were on vacation but we felt like we were at home. Our first trip was during the Memorial Day weekend and my parents along with my husband and our 19 year old daughter and her 21 year old friend stay in the house and we were all so comfortable and had plenty of space. Our daughter is very picky and this has been her favorite house that we have rented so far. We returned for a week in July and we hated to leave and we are now hoping to return before the end of the summer. We highly recommend this property, it is just a short walk to the beach and it is very convenient to all the resturants and attractions in GS. There is a little grocery store just a few yards away if you happen to need something in a hurry. The next door neighbor is very sweet and kind and I enjoyed my conversation with her, she even offered fishing poles and floats if we wanted to use them. The porch was our favorite spot, we began and ended our day there. We are also so glad that our little dog could enjoy the vacation with us as well. Miko had an awesome time too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Family vacation 2011

We had an incredible time with our three kids, my elderly parents, and two nieces. It was so relaxing to sit on the back porch in the evenings and watch the sunset over the lagoon. The home is in a great location, with a grocery store 3 houses down, the beach right across the street and the lagoon in the backyard! We didn't even get in our cars the first two days. We absolutely LOVED this home and would definitely recommend it to others.

We had an excellent week with our family and our grandson's friends. My son-in-law launched his boat at the private boat launch on the property. We fished from the pier and enjoyed the beautiful beach and beautiful sun sets in the evening. The bay was fun for knee boarding, etc... I was very happy with the supply of pots and pans. Your beach house was spotless and had plenty of space. I also enjoyed reading a couple of your books. It was the perfect place for us to enojoy.... :) We made some great memories. Couldn't ask for a better neighborhood. Thank you both so much.....

We loved our stay at SunsetDaze! Although this home allows pets, it was VERY clean, the cleanest pet friendly rental we have vacationed in. The house is spacious and comfortable, felt like home. The view is beautiful, especially sunrise and sunset. The large covered porch with ceiling fans was very relaxing. The yard was fenced so my dog could roam and enjoy the outdoors safely. The beach is an easy walk across the street and the public beach with parking with a bath house is two blocks away, and in less than a mile there are three total. There is a grocery store on the corner with all the necessities and more. Everything is convenient to SunsetDaze. No one wanted to come home and we will be back! The owner was a pleasure to work with – Thanks for everything Vince, you and your home are AWESOME!

Great Escape! Don't be Foiled by the Oil

Truly fell in LOVE with this place. Great access to the beach, shops, and restaurants. You can jet-ski, fish, and swim in the lagoon, which is right out the back door. It was the most peaceful vacation, I have encountered! The neighbors are outstanding! Plenty of room in the house, we had five of us and everyone had their own space. Very neat and clean!!! The owners are SUPER accommodating! We stayed during the BP Oil disaster and the beach was very clean.

We stayed at this house for and entire month and I will have to say, it was the most peaceful and relaxing vacation I have ever had. The house was perfect, it had plenty of room and amenities. The veiw from the porch (which we hardly left) was spectacular. The neighbors are very nice and helpful and the atmophere is quite dog friendly, but still quiet. It is just a short walk to the beach and convenience store a block away. I am hoping to plan my vacation next year to stay in the same place!

We just returned home on the 29th. This was the best vacation my family has ever had. We had the best of all worlds. We brought a jet ski with us which we put in at the boat dock at the home and left in in the water all week parked at the pier of the home. We fished from the pier all week catching shrimp, crab and fish which we took inside and cooked. When we wnated the beach, all we had to do was walk across the street. The grocery store was only a few steps away. The home was absolutely beautiful and the neighbors were very friendly and helpful. The owners of this home were very easy to work with. We will be returning here every year now.

Just want to say Thank you very much for letting me and my family enjoy this wonderful vacation home. It was very nice and close to everything. We walked every night to all the shopping centers, and resturants. The beach is in walking distance, and Great fishing area in front yard. My son caught about a three pound Red fish one day, and many others. Thanks again hope to enjoy this wonderful place some other time!

Our family of 10 stayed at this house in August and it was the best vacation we have ever had. It is just a short walk to the beach but the view of the Little Lagoon is beautiful. We have small children and the house was great. All three caught their first fish from the dock. The play area under the deck saved us during the frequent rain showers. The beach was wonderful, of course. I would recommend this house to anyone. Our family ranged from age 1 thru 57 and everyone had a wonderful time. The homeowner was delightful to corespond with and everything was just as he wrote it would be, including the wonderful sunsets from the back deck.
