Our cottage is situated on a very private lot on the most pristine lake in the state of New Hampshire. This lake has no commercial development except for a very small marina and seasonal country store.
We have a deep water dock, swim raft, and small beach area with shallow water area for young children. The views are of the surrounding mountains across the lake and the sunsets are spectacular. This is a family lake with lots of water-skiing. We enjoy fishing from the dock and the visits from loons and an occasional eagle.
The wrap around deck allows for plenty of eating areas, room for lounging and can be closed off with gates to keep young children safe from the water. Inside, there are two bedrooms at one end of the house that share a bath. One is the master bedroom with queen bed that has a view of the lake and opens through a slider to the deck. The other has two sets of bunk beds. At the other end of the house is another bedroom with queen bed, full bath, a view of the lake and slider to the deck. The entire middle of the house is a living room and dining/sun room that can be divided or left open. There are sliders that open to the deck on the lakeside from both of these rooms. A large family table seats 10 for indoor dining. There is room for a couple of people to sleep in the living area either on a day bed or pull out sofa.
We provide pillows and blankets and ask renters to bring their own towels and sheets. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a second refrigerator on the deck which we use for beverages.
This is truly a place to relax, enjoy the serenity of nature and have fun on the water. You are welcome to bring you own boat and tie up right at the dock. It's a great place for canoeing and kayaking as well. We have wonderful family memories of time spent here and hope you can create some of your own.
We ask that there please be NO PETS and NO SMOKING because many in our family are allergic.
