Why the Owner Chose Lake Arrowhead
We chose this location on the lake because of the exquisite panoramac views of the lake and mountains, the proximity to the water, and the direct pathway down to the lake, as well as the oh so close Tavern Bay Beach Club. We loved the private setting and the sweeping views as well as the level entry with ample covered parking. The lake breeze keeps the house cool and the large deck area makes for a nice relaxing morning,afternoon or evening. The house is very private becasue there is a wooded area next to the house and 100' pines surround us.
The Unique Benefits at this Country House / Chateau
DOCK for viewing as well as a TAVERN BAY BEACH PASS allowing parking at the lagoon and use of the water toys and lounge chairs and snack bar.Our house has over 1,000 sq ft of decks alone, that is more than some entire houses! We have level entry and direct access to the lake which many homes do not. We are on a large piece of land affording privacy as well as views.

We love spending our free time in the mountains on Lake Arrowhead. It is a lovely setting and it doesn't take too long to get here! The paths around the lake from our house are great to walk on and Tavern Bay has so many lovely homes and yards, it makes for a great walk. The nearby UCLA Conference Center lets us use their tennis courts and their grounds are nice to walk through too. In the summer we love the paths and in the winter we love to ski, snowboard and there is a tubing run 6 miles away as well as sleigh-riding. It's hard to pick a favorite season because even spring and fall are lovely up here. It is most literally a breath of fresh air~

Thank you for the use of your lovely home. My family truly enjoyed our week in the treetops of Arrowhead. The house was perfect for all gathering together for meals and game time and spacious enough for sleeping all of us comfortably. The location was great and allowed for us to go to the village or the beach in just a few minutes. We look forward to a return visit.

The cabin is one of the most spacious and beautiful we have stayed in. It's just the right size for our family and anyone can enjoy their own space, wether relaxing in the balcony, preparing the food in the kitchen, sleepy heads in the bedrooms and the young and young at hearts enjoying the game room. It was a special weekend for my dad (who got ill and nearly was not able to travel from Asia), he loved the view of the lake and the sorrounding areas and enjoyed the walks to the lake and the village. We will definitely come back"

Hi Mary ~ well, I just had my morning coffee without the beautiful view of Lake Arrowhead. Not quite the same ..... However, my family and I enjoyed the weekend, and your home is most comfortable and large enough for our family to move around freely and not feel crowded. Many good things to mention: ample parking, no close neighbors ( NO traffic to speak of) ... beautiful view throughout the day of the lake ... no problem spending a few or several days at this location. Also, a quick mention of your cleaning crew. I have been to several cabins/houses where the c/crews were not nearly as concerned with cleanliness as yours seem to be. We never returned to those less cared for. Your home, is well maintained & it was in move-in & have some fun condition !

did write in your book and will be happy to post a review on the VRBO page. You don't know us, but I wish you could have seen my husband. He loved your home, the view was fantastic, he was totally surprised that all of our kids, their spouses, and our 3 grandchildren came to surprise him. In fact, they seemed to come one after another, so he wasn't really sure that everyone was going to be together. It truly stretched out the excitement. He was very emotional. I had made an album of good wishes, cards, etc. from friend, family and associates, which was another great surprise for him. I just wanted you to know how much we enjoyed the weekend. We felt so warm and cozy without any interruptions, like one gets when they are at home. It was all about family. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful home..........we know you must love the times you are there yourselves. It made me want a place again.
