Front Elevation - Santa Cruz, California Home Rental We would be pleased to have you stay in our fully-furnished, vacation (second) home. It is truly a great place to relax and enjoy all that the world-famous Monterey Bay coast has to offer. We have a great location at the back-end of a ten home private cul-de-sac. Being that it abuts the Upper Santa Cruz Harbour and its contiguous riparian corridor, it is a very private, extremely quiet and serene place. We are a short ten to fifteen minute walk to the nearest beach and the harbour entrance. Our two-story, 2100 square foot home is 15 years old, open and airy. It has ample windows and three separate sliders leading to the beautiful, temperate California coastal climate. It consists of: three bedrooms; two and a half baths; living room; family room; dining area seating eight; as well as an extensive outdoor brick patio, outdoor hot tub and gazebo. Our smoke-free home includes bedspreads, linens, blankets, pillows, bath towels and beach towels, as well as a fully-equipped kitchen (including microwave, coffee grinder/maker, blender and juicer) all charmingly decorated in a beach theme. The family room and master suite each have their own TV/cable, DVD/VCR, and stereo surround systems. The washer and dryer are upstairs next to the bedrooms and baths. The master suite has a king bed, a sitting area (including desk with a broadband internet-connected PC), a soaking tub and separate shower. Another bedroom has two bunkbeds and two additional mattresses - could easily sleep six "smaller people." The third bedroom has an antique full bed (with a definite bed and breakfast feel). The house is very well laid-out for privacy and is comfortable for extended family members or adults traveling together - as well as for a family. The yard is fenced and perfect for children. Outside, you will enjoy a barbecue deck off the kitchen and dining area. Or relax on the brick patio with your favorite book... or unwind in the requisite Northern California hot tub. Additionally, there is an outdoor shower for your after-beach cleanup. Unfortunately, we do not allow guests with pets of any kind (due to some previous poor experiences). This is a great house for entertaining or just staying home alone to enjoy the ambiance.
