Second floor condominium, one and one-half blocks from beautiful St. Peters beach.
Cape May Point is what a peaceful beach community should be: charming, quiet, intimate, with sand dunes and a lighthouse nearby … a place where time appears to stand still.
Somewhere In Time, 202 Ocean Avenue (corner of Yale and Ocean Avenue), began in Victorian times as a guest house for Irish working girls to spend a week by the seaside.
It was completely renovated and modernized when it became a condominium in the 1990’s. The Sparrow, the coziest little place in Cape May Point, is a studio unit on the second floor of Somewhere In Time. The view is to the SouthWest, and it catches the fresh ocean breezes.
You can hear and smell the ocean, see a bit of ocean from some of the windows and relax on the unit’s large, private deck. You will be amazed by the amount of stars you can see at night.
Many varieties of birds and butterflies pass through the area, as they have for centuries. This second floor unit overlooks a large Victorian garden where you can stroll, and pick flowers.
Somewhere In Time is a few moments walk -- just a block and one-half -- from lovely St. Peter’s Beach. Cape May Point’s charming General Store offers most of what you might need, including pastries for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch, sandals, sodas and postcards.
Picturesque, stroll-inspiring Victorian Cape May, with restaurants and shops, is a two mile drive. At nearby Sunset Beach, you can collect Cape May Diamonds (wave-tossed pebbles and glass) from the shore line and watch the sun descend into the sea.
