We enjoyed a wonderful week on Sanibel Island. This condo had everything we needed to enjoy all that Sanibel has to offer. Sundial combines a beach location and easy access. This bright and sunny space has a super comfy king sized bed, and a pull out couch which accommodated my kids and I perfectly. The owners Kathi and Ken were very accommodating and answered all of my questions before we went, so there were no surprises. The screened in porch had great beach chairs and plenty of pool toys to use. The location is perfect. You can see the sun rise every morning as you sip your morning coffee. Being so close to the beach and pool made it easy to come in for lunch or a break from the sun. The condo has plenty of books, a DVD/VCR and all the kids favorite cable channels. We loved collecting shells on the beach. We drove up to nearby Captiva Island to enjoy an amazing sunset. There are plenty of stores nearby, and several restaurants that deliver if you don't feel like cooking or going out. We ordered groceries in advance from Bailey's General Store website which were delivered at exactly the promised time on our first day. What a timesaver! Sanibel is perfect for couples or families who want to enjoy a stress free week . Wevwill definitely be back!

Ken and Kathi, Well, it's almost time to pack our bags and head back to the snow in Kansas City, but we just wanted to let you know how much we have enjoyed our holiday in you condo. It's a great spot and a perfect location to get to everything. We helped the economy of Sanibel Island a bit by visiting many of the restaurants you recommended and a bunch of shops including finding a couple of great Christmas music boxes at Baileys. For breakfast we tried the Lighthouse (2 times), Over Easy and Island Cow and really liked the first two. For lunch Cheeburger Cheeburger and Grandma Dots. Dinner included Mucky Ducks for the sunset Saturday night, Matzaluna, Great White for pizza and Doc Fords, which was our favorite. And Pinocchios (next to the Lighthouse Cafe) was a great spot for ice cream! And Jerry's Market had everything we need to stock the brand new refringerator and the colorful birds were a great bonus attraction. We also took the Seminole Gulf Railway Murder Mystery train ride and had a surprisingly good dinner and good fun. We also enjoyed the Edison / Ford Winter Home, which stayed open late for the Christmas Lights last night. The J N "Ding" Darling Wildlife Refuge was a great spot. We visited at low tide when lots of birds were busy feeding. We even got close to a alligator enjoying the warm sun. Although the one-way drive was only 4 miles long, we managed to spend much of the afternoon enjoying the area. The Sanibel Historical Museum and Village was another great spot to learn more about local history. With all the sight seeing and just watching the water we still managed to find time to take some great naps listening to the birds and waves. Thanks for your kindness in allowing us to share your Florida home. The pictures on the web site and the referrals from others were all very accurate and the management company really seemed to be active in mainting the entire Sundail complex. We certainly recommend your unit to anyone looking for a well maintined spot to use as their Sanibel Island base. Tomorrow we fly home and will enjoy Christmas with our family and wish you a joyful Christmas and a wonderful New Year

My wife wrote a review in the guest book. Mine is that this place was excellent. We had a blast. Rented bikes from Billy's. Got food a Jerry's. Ate Ice cream at pinochio. Played golf at Dunes and BeachView... Read two books, sat on the beach and at the pool... shelled... I need a vacation from my vacation... of course my boss already emailed me about tomorrow :-( and making sure I'm coming back!! My wife teared up when leaving. As we took a left over the causeway I looked out of the corner of my eye to see her clearing away the trail and glanced back at my 17 year old daughter staring into the waters wondering why all weeks aren't as wonderful as the one we just had! With Sincere Appreciation. I wish there are more people that shared there home in paradise as you do.. Ken and Kathi! Nick/Terri and Emilie!

The unit and complex were perfect. Every employee waved, said hello, opened the elevator door and just added to the visit. Beach was sandy and beautiful. Stepping from the beach to the pool to the condo and late night walks with my baby made for a wonderful trip. We rented bikes from Billy's and rode them everywhere... mostly for ice cream at Pinocchio's (offset the workout... but worth it!!!) If your a tennis person this is the place and if your a golfer than Beach View is .5 or less miles away! Unit was clean and updated with just the right amount of cookware. Next time I'll use the grills but we went out every dinner and had a ball! I love it when we leave a place and my wife and daughter are crying and asking to stay! Ken and Kathi we VRBO a lot (look for my reviews of the eateries on yelp, trip and urbanspoon) and you have a wonderful place in a wonderful spot of the world! N

Our first vacation to your beautiful condo was a blast. We didn't know what to expect when we first booked the trip but Sanibel and your condo far exceeded our expectations. We didn't have to go our much for food since you had everything we needed right here which was great for the little one. Went to Captiva to see the sunset, rented bikes and went on a sunset and fishing cruise. Thank you again and we cannot wait to return.

The beach is just a few steps away with all the shells to choose from and pick from. Great weather, the condo is convienent to everything. It was a great trip. Three wonderful weeks. The weather windy the first two weeks but we were always able to be outside. We took in a Red Sox game, the Edison Ford Museums, miniture golf next to sandy Butler (Yum) and Ding Darling. Grandma Dots, Twightlight cafe, Doc Fords, and Over Easy for breakfast were some of our favorite haunts. We love Sanibel and your condo Ken and Kathi, and it is our Sanibel home. There is still much to see and do and enjoy for next time.

Bit cold and windy for our three weeks here but your condo was convient and comfortable and made our stay so much more pleasant here. Sanibel and Captiva are resort islands that careful planning looks more spectacular and hard to compare with then any other place in the U.S. We are happy about the missed blizzards back up north.

Now that things are settled down and we are back, we thought we'd say hello. We had a very good time despite the 'cold" weather. Even though Linda had a cold it was still warm enough and so nice a place that we enjoyed it. We did not leave the island since it was our first time there and after a few days we knew we would be back. Your place was just the right size, had everything we needed, was easy to find and had a very comfortable bed.

Hi Ken & Kathi, We just returned from Sanibel last week and were there from Oct,18-25. We enjoyed the two islands so very much and were not ready to leave when the time came. We enjoyed staying in your condo and the convience of being next to the elevator and laundry room was great. We felt very comfortable and right at home from the moment we arrived. The unit was well furnished with everything we needed. We loved the large lanai and spent quite a lot of time out there enjoying the view. It was nice having the gas grills right out front and we did cook out one evening. The whole week was very relaxing, and we enjoyed the beach a great deal and also shelling which I found to be very addictive. My husband fished and golfed some. We went to the Mucky Duck for the sunset and to eat and your right, the beach is very nice there. We also went to Grandma Dots, and the coconut shrimp and homemade chips were great. We also tried the Sanibel Grill and Island Cow. We found the food to be good everywhere we ate. Thank you so much for all the information. It was so helpful to have the insight on certain restaurants and other things to do. We just loved the tropical feel of the islands... Thanks for everything...........Jeanine & Terry Phillips

Spent a week at Sundial Condo I 304 the weather was perfect and the condo was beautiful. Very clean, bright and equipped with everything you need. Next vacation we will stay for 2 weeks at Sundial I 304.
