This was our first time renting thru VRBO and it was the best, most relaxing vacation we have ever had! Instead of being cramped in a hotel room, you felt like you were living in your home. The property was more than we expected!. Honestly the pictures don't even to it justice - it is better!!! The location is perfect! It is within walking distance to everything you could possibly need. (Grocery Store, great restaurants, bars, casinos, beaches EVERYTHING!) And the airport is less than 10 minutes away, but very rarely did we even hear a plane take off! The owner Maria, was attentive to all our needs and extremely helpful in pointing us to great local restaurants, grocery stores etc. We loved this place so much, that every night we just enjoyed the view from the balcony, relaxing with a Mojito and snacks prepared in our own kitchen. The staff at ESJ was friendly, and very helpful. The concierge desk located in the lobby helped us book all our trips, and gave us all the right information when it came to buses, taxis etc. We had another couple come and visit us for a few days and having two bedrooms, with two full baths was perfect! Everything in the unit was in full working order. As far as the local restaurants we visited, MetroPol and Plato had great skirt steak with chimichurri (our favorite). You can catch a bus for 75 cents in front of ESJ that will take you right to the heart of Old San Juan or its a $20 cab ride. We could go on and on - the bottom line - This Place is Perfect!
