Casa Vital Ingredient sits in three acres of tropical landscaped grounds on a secluded bay on the south side of the island, just inside the mouth of First Bight.
The luxurious, 4500-square-foot home has four large bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and a fifth bedroom ideal for children. The living area is a vast traditional-style great room with vaulted cathedral ceilings, polished Honduran hardwood floors and doors and distinct lounge seating, formal dining, bar and games, and TV relaxation areas. The whole house is decorated and furnished to a high standard, and all linens, towels, and kitchen equipment are top quality.
Outside a huge sun deck leads to the gardens, which overlook the waters of the Bight and the Caribbean Sea beyond. One side of the deck is set for leisurely outside dining, the other has oversize sofas positioned under a shaded palapa. A gentle stepped path leads from the lawn, with its cushioned sun loungers, to the private sandy beach with its kayaks, the private jetty, and the boat house.
Above the boat house a 900-square-foot, shaded deck catches the ocean breezes making it a great spot for relaxing in the hammock. The grounds can be flood lit, and rope lighting bathes the deck and boat house with soft romantic light at night.
The house is child friendly - the boat house deck is fully netted, the power points have safety covers, the kitchen cupboards are fitted with childproof latches, and a special "kid's package" of crib, car seat, highchair, toys and books is available for a small, extra, weekly charge.
Our full-time staff live on the estate providing maintenance and security, and maid service is available.
