Enjoy peaceful seclusion only two hours northeast of the Twin Cities. This private, 4000-square-foot home is ideally located on 30 wooded acres - birch and pine - with over 500 feet of lakeshore. The property features a private tennis court - with a practice backboard and two basketball hoops - nestled in the woods. Built in the 1940s, the home reflects the character of its surroundings with pine floors, wood-paneled walls, and lots of windows.
Webb Lake is a clean, 790-acre lake ideal for fishing, swimming, and boating. When you are not on the lake, enjoy a game of tennis, horseshoes, or pool - or a walk on the one-half mile driveway. At the end of the day, relax in the hot tub, on the large deck, or in the screened-in porch. In the winter, enjoy cross-country skiing, ice fishing, and snowmobiling.
The cabin is just minutes away from golf, ski trails, restaurants, casinos - and canoeing/kayaking/fly fishing on the beautiful Namekagon or Saint Croix Rivers. Slightly longer ventures are Hayward, Wisconsin - 40 miles, Lake Superior - 60 miles, and Bayfield/Madeline Island - 115 miles.
With four large bedrooms, each with its own private bath, this home can easily accommodate several families - sleeping 15 or more guests.

This cabin says it all...nothing fancy, however fully accomidating and such a wonderful open floor p

I stayed here with my entire family , ages 13-73, 8 adults and 7 kids. The big kitchen allowed for ALL 15 to gather at the table for meals(we moved one smaller table). The big open living room area kept us entertained with pool tournaments, games, puzzles and even a little piano playing/singing. The hot tub and sauna provided relaxation after hiking,soccer on the lake and sliding! The cabin isn't fancy, rustic and a bit worn in, thus giving a cozy ,comfortable stay. We also had a lakeside fire for smores,singing and stories! We kept the indoor fire stoked as well. I am usually chilled, not the case here! Some wore shorts inside! My family would definately choose this location again!!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
