We are following all of the rules, regulations and have adopted Updated cleaning procedures on a daily basis at Casa Amarilla.

Escape to the privacy of your own beach front villa in a tropical paradise on the Pacific Ocean. This ideally located villa is situated on the beach in a small fishing village where you can enjoy the most beautiful sunsets over the Pacific. Each morning you may experience our natural alarm clock - the Scarlet Macaws as they fly in to feed off our almond trees. Cool off in our private pool surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden. Go for long walks on the beach, stopping for lunch or a thirst quenching drink at one of the local restaurants. Buy fish from our local fishermen and cook your own food on the barbeque. Finally after a long day relax on the front porch, sea wall or under the rancho to watch the spectacular sunsets light up the ocean.

We are centrally located on the fringe of a small fishing village on the Pacific coast within easy driving distance of ecoparks, volcanoes, and many other places of interest. Jaco Beach a tourist and surfing town with good restaurants, souvenir shops and miles long beach is only 20 minutes away.

INTERIOR DESCRIPTION: A three-bedroom bungalow, relaxing living room with Cable tv , lovely fully equipped kitchen with dinning area. There are plenty of pots, pans, dishes, beach towels etc.

Extra Services: An English speaking Property Manager is available to assist you with car rentals, tour arrangements, pick up from and back to the airport and housekeeping or maid services optional .

You can't go wrong for the price on this one.

If you want space, and being literally on the beach, you should not hesitate to stay at this property. If you are a perfectionist, you still may want to stay here because the cost is excellent for a place on the beach. The high tide literally came within a couple of feet of the property wall. The grounds and home were very relaxing. Patris did respond very well to all of our questions and gave good advice and directions to accomplish what we desired. If I did not desire a variety in locations, I would absolutely stay here again and may very well do so in the future anyway. Thank you Patri

Beautiful. peaceful place for a great vacation

Casa Amarillo is a small beach cottage with a beautiful garden and direct ocean views from the home, the patio garden and the small plunge pool. We loved falling asleep every night and waking every morning to the sounds of the surf. Scarlet macaws visited the property's almond trees everyday. Jarra, the caretaker cut open coconuts for us. And we were able to buy fresh caught fish directly from fishermen. The inside furnishings and fixtures are pretty basic, but it's functional, comfortable and has everything you really need. Patri the property manager is quick to respond to any problems. The location, while beautiful, is not convenient to shopping or restaurants. There are two restaurants within walking distance on the beach. La Fiesta Del Marisco was especially good. Beyond those two, you will need a car or a driver. I highly recommend a driver Patri put me in touch with, Gilberth Montero, who not only provided us with transportation but also helped us plan and book tours and activities that really made our vacation special. I would love to stay here again and would recommend Casa Amarilla to anyone visiting this area of Costa Rica.

Casa Amarilla is a beautiful house on the beach. Difficult to find - don't miss that small drive down to all the houses. There are about 6 or 7 next to each other on the beach. Most are empty so it is quiet and relaxing...until the weekenders arrive with their loud music and large families. The host, Patricia, is wonderful and anticipates all you need for a vacay at the beach. Sunsets are gorgeous, the pool cool and refreshing, even a "resident" cat who just wants to be loved. A/C in the bedrooms is refreshing after a long day in the sun. The kitchen is well equipped, lots of towels for the house and the lounge chairs. Jarra comes by every other day or so to clean the pool, check on guests, help you practice your spanish. Lots of dogs in the neighborhood.

Lovely home on the water

This home, right on the water, is beautifully and unpretentiously designed for a comfortable, aesthetic, sensuous experience. The garden has several outdoor garden spaces for socializing while looking at the ocean and seated midst well maintained tropical flowers and trees. The sun shifts and the shade in different garden spots is welcome because temperatures in early March are hot! The small plunge pool is a delight for cooling down, also while watching sunset and moonrise over the sea. The Pacific itself, right in front of the house, is warm and gentle. The beach is rocky but the rocks are gorgeous with interesting markings. They thin out and the beach is sandy as you come to ocean itself; also you can walk in either direction along the beach, to Tarcoles to the right and to a sandier beach on the left. Two national parks and Jaco are short drives. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds in the three bedrooms are comfortable. Patricia, the house manager, is wonderful. I had an accident while there and she went to extraordinary lengths to get me the medical care I needed. We also enjoyed Jarre who works in the garden and with the pool, a lovely man who showed us how to harvest cocoa beans from his plants and brew cocoa from them. This house has the best possible review from us and we're planning a family reunion there.
