It is within an hour and a quarter of Avignon, Nimes, Arles, Marseille, and Mediterranean beaches, and just a few minutes more to the Cote d'Azur. In opinion polls, it has more than once been voted on by French people as the town they would most like to live in.
The property is located in one of the loveliest areas of Aix, but only two miles from the center of town in a calm country setting with large trees and beautiful Provencal vegetation.
The house is charming and well-furnished with 17th, 18th, and 19th century doors throughout. There is a combination living/dining room, a TV room, and a fully-equipped kitchen as well as two double bedrooms, one single bedroom, and a sleeping loft for two people overlooking the living room. In the bathroom are bath and shower facilities and the toilet is separate.
A large terrace and garden surround the house which is located on a hill, and one climbs steps to reach it. Parking is available.
There is an extensive library with books for all tastes as well as a VCR with a selection of English language films.
